You hear of kids being savaged by pet dogs who have always been friendly up till that point. It shows that you can never fully trust a even dog with a child, I know I dont. So to take a kid into a croc pen an say you were perfectly safe and in control is utter madness,.

when the pearl jam single i am mine came out a little over a year ago, i was still a witness.

it's easy to see why the lyrics appealed to me at a time when i was subconsciously trying to free myself from the mind control.. i know that i was born and i know that i?ll die.. the in between is mine.. i am mine.. .... we?re different behind the eyes, there?s no need to hide .

.... the sorrow grows bigger when the sorrow's denied.. i only know my mind.. i am mine.. freedom has been a gradual process.

i'll tell what i got on the other thread later, but i'd like to know what you all gave this year.

i gave my oldest son a set of chinese exercise balls in a beautiful silk box.

he needs to relax!!.

Old man Green got: an Xbox game, DVD and CD.

Liam - Gaint transformer, spiderman web-blaster (huge hints for weeks before about this !) , post office set, Lego, games and lots of little bits and bobs.

Dylan - Bob the builder playset, noddy garage and noddy character cars (he was made up with these), little transformer, games and various bits and pieces.

And an X-box game for both of them to share.

Nephew - Stickle bricks
