Prince has recorded "Kingdom Melody" No 15
by yxl1 inapparently he couldnt sleep, so one night he popped into his studio and recorded km number 15, with drums, bass, piano and jazz guitar.

abortion...Do parents have the rights to know..
by Brummie in..if their young daughter is going to have an abortion?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/nolpda/ukfs_news/hi/newsid_3709000/3709681.stm.
i think this mother had the rights to know, british law doesnt think so.

This WAS the only girl whose mother then took actions which ensured that her daughter's picture was on the front page of two newspapers yesterday.
Yes it is pretty sickening, that girl still has to go to school and is going to have put up with people judging her now because of the mother making it so public.
I think the girls should be encouraged as much as possible to tell their parents, but there is not much a health care worker can do if the refuse completely.
If the health workers went behind the girls back and told the parents, all that would happen is that these kids would not confide in anyone and would have no one to turn to for advice

So is anyone else going to watch the eurovision song contest?
by BLISSISIGNORANCE insunday night..................it's on again!.
every year my family keeps tradition and we watch hours of hilariously bad/not so bad european pop music.
from remote places like estonia to malta and germany, it's on for young and old.. we usually invite fellow esc fans/friends and we consume good wine, watch the show and have a fun night.. abba launched into their career by winning eurovision in 1974 with 'waterloo'.. here is the web site.......................enjoy.

I love it how Greece and Cyprus always give each other the maximum points.

Terry Wogan's commentary makes it worth watching - he shows no mercy
Lets face it Britain couldnt do any worse this year than last (nil points), with the out of tune singers we picked to represent us lol
Yes we will be watching - nothing better on on Saturday nights anyway !

Surely each case should be judged on its own merits. This particular one seems to have been mishandled (although what loving mother would sell their story to the press!) but only one side is reported as the health care workers cannot make any comment. Who knows what the girl told them about her family.
I agree that in most cases, it's better that the parents know, but not all cases.
I agree. Sometimes it is in the best interest of the child not to inform the parents. I'm glad that there are people there for kids in this situation - what would be better, someone helping the girl and offering them advice and information and making sure they are safe - or some 14 year old girl giving birth alone in some grotty shed and abandoning the baby because she is terrified of her parents reaction to the pregnancy.

Wasn't Saddam ousted for doing precisely this sort of thing?
by Simon inutterly disgusting.
those responsible should be lined against a wall and shot.
publicly.. i think that would win more hearts and minds than bombing cities and using gunships on civilian areas.. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4855930/.

Frankly, I think it would be obscene to let people like Crinklestien spew their violent filth, their bloodthirsty kill the innocent for the crimes of the guilty fantasies, their racist hate language, without an appropriate challenge.
I agree and I understand
I'm sorry about editing your post but if I had left you comment in and taken Crinklestien's out (even though yours was a lot tamer) I would have been accused of allowing person to be insulting and the other not.
