  i'm pretty sure i once read that charles taze russell said something along the lines that the negro was an inferior but amiable fellow.

  is this correct?

  Does England Need The Royals?

  there's lot's of reasons why we need a monarchy.

  here's 1 reason, outlined by peter hitchens:.

  uniquely in all the world, monarchy stands for liberty...the british form of monarchy is preferable to most forms of republics.

  You're right, the Queen doesn't do anything except spend taxpayers money and travel, oh wait.. she gives speeches too. It might be good for the economy with all the people going to see the pomp, but why can't you have that with an elected head of state. Buckingham Palace... the place where a Queen used to live; just think, you'd be able to tour it too.

  Tourism would not suffer if they went, people come to see the castles, palaces and art work - that would all still be there. The history would still be there. You can tour Buckingham Palace already, and pay an arm and leg for the "pleasure"

  Spot on Watchtowerhater & mtbatoon, yes Charles had an affair but Diana also had numerous affairs, she manipulated the media, and cried foul when it suited her, she was not the saint that a lot of people like to think she was.

  There is a definite resemblance in those pics, much more than between Harry & Charles.

  I dont have any time to the royals, but I really dont see what the big deal is over Charles marrying Camilla.

  Birthdays are a good memory

  yesterday was my son turned 9 years old.

  he's going to have his birthday party this saturday but we took him out last night for his birthday dinner (he chose red lobster).

  he had been dying to see what we had bought him for his birthday and begged (with those big puss n boots eyes) to open "just one" present yesterday morning.

  What a great memory Chris, I can just imagine his face

  Liam was the same at christmas, we had wanted this Yi-Gi-Oh collector tin for ages (whoever came up with yi-gi-oh cards is on a licence to print money !), when he opened it he yelled "Woah maan thats soooo mint" Apparently MINT is the word of approval at school at the moment.

  Hope he has a great party. I can't imagine not letting ours enjoy their birthday now, its so harmless but makes them feel so special.
