I just wondered.

Everyone seems to be slagging her off because she isn't the best thing since sliced bread in the prettiness stakes.

Aren't we being a bit narrow minded here? 2 people can like each other loads without having to be stardom material surely. Yeah, she's a bit horsey and he's got those funny ears too. So what? Does that mean you have to be beautiful to win a partner?

I think that it's so sad that people can be so obsessed by appearance. If our eyes are all we have to rely on when we meet someone, then God help us all.

Hi there.

Really, I don't have any issue with Camilla in the looks department. God only knows I'm nothing to write home to mommy about. Personally I think it stinks that she can come between a woman and her ~~unfaithful~~ husband for years, claim him and the children after the woman?s death, and then become queen in her stead to boot! It reeks to high heaven, but that's just one person's opinion.

Bottom line though is that it's none of my business, or anyone who is not a British Citizen. I'll just grumble about Charles taste in women and let Europe grumble about America's choice in politicians. It's all good...

Camilla and Charles were in love with eachother when they both were in their twenties.... She didn't look bad at all then... She isn't ugly now, at least in my eyes.... Charles isn't the most handsome man in Great Britain... but he does have a certain kind of charm... They love each other, they finally will marry, good for them... congratulations... the end

Well said, Englishman. From what I understand, it's now been decided that Charles' horse WILL get to be queen when he assumes the throne. Bless them both.

They keep the monarchy because it's good for tourism and it's tradition going back hundreds of years. They view their position as head of the Anglican Church as divine providence. I remember when I visited the Tower of London the Beefeater that gave the tour was awesome. We sat in the chapel and he told us his duty was to God and HRH The Queen. I guess "God Save the Queen" is a prayer.
