as you may have heard, the court of appeal has overturned three previous court decisions in my favour.

the lawsuit has been given the green light and is basically has remained intact almost exactly the way it started.

what are the odds of that happening?

The last time I asked for donations I collected approximately $4,000.

3) Where is the proper accounting for donations? How much money is being spent where? How much money is being taken in, who is regulating the flow? When asking for money, it's considered good practice to show where it has been used and where it will continue to be used... specifically.
ANSWER: As mentioned above, when enough contributions come in , then a lawfirm will be taking over the trust fund.

Would you be able to provide the people that donatated last time with an accounting of where their donations have gone so far. Your answer above doesnt seem to cover what was asked.

I sure you would have many more people donate if they could view this information. Hillary-step's idea of a volunteer board would be an excellent way for you to proceed.

I voiced my concerns on an open forum so that others might make informed choices before sending money.

I agree - everyone should know all the facts before sending money.

Please could you address the questions raised by Para (copied below) and others on this thread about the accounting and use of any donations or settlement.

1) Lawyers are like vultures, especially civil lawyers. The fact that you can't even get a vulture to take a bite at this potentially juicy target concerns me on the legal grounds for success. If this is going to be such a high profile case, I can assure you that SOME lawyer would want their face all over the papers as free publicity.

2) Knowing you would be going up against the Tower's law firms, why did you pursue a course that you would be unable to finish, especially when the stakes are so high with precedents.

4) Is this money also going towards your suit against the Cross Cancer Institute as well?

5) You are asking for handout for a chance at a large civil suit. No mention was made to what will happen with the money if you win. No provision is suggested in the donation request that leads me to believe that you would want to pay people back for their donations.

6) Who is managing the fund? You or a third party?

7) Is there any provision to those donating to your cause that you will not be settling out of court if they offer enough?

First, Minimus agreed to inaugurate the Watchtower lesson comments and that got kicked out and now this.

There was absolutely no issue with Minimus and his WT comments thread - its still there so I dont know why you think it got "kicked out"

The issue was purely with V wanting to use a duplicate account that a number of people had access to and could post under. There is no issue at all with the posting of the watchtower commentary. Only the use of shared or duplicate accounts and this is nothing new to the forum.

What is going on??

You know full well that you started a topic yesterday petitioning to get WT Comments account back. You knew this was being dealt with in admin because Simon PM'd you. You decided it wasnt happening quick enough and started a topic which was then removed to the admin section. Your account was resticted which is standard procedure in this sort of situation to stop you just starting another while it was resolved.

I am trying to post the fully formatted version of WT Comments. Please stop crippling my efforts.

No one is trying to cripple your efforts just have a bit of patience.

OK we also have a pot luck going - one kind person has contacted me and said that they would love to send a gift to someone but doesnt want to receive - so I have got Simon to point at random to my list and that person will receive an extra gift.

I think it would be good if the text of the WT Comments be left here and on the other website. Also, I dont think the indexing service Simon has set up for the Search Feature on JWD will work if the WT Comments is in an embedded page. (Please correct me if I am wrong Simon, I don't know for certain) That would be too bad to lose access to the WT Comments being available in the archives. I have seen links to news articles disappear after only a short time after the hosting web site cycled the story out.

That is correct. If a copy of the text is posted (with a link to the original) then it will be indexed and searchable. Also, V has requested a 'best of' section for WT Comments but I would be reluctant to do this for IFRAMEd content.
