  would there happen to be a group here who all attend the same kh?

  i was just thinking how great it would be for several people to da in mass... one person per week.

  every week for several weeks the elders have to get on stage and announce that so-and-so daed themselve.. this would certainly cause a lot of people at the congregation to start asking questions!

  This happened in Bonham, Texas a few years ago. Went to court and the decision was that both the WTS and the "apostates" could use the hall, needless to say the WTS built a new hall along with a new set of "friends" from WTS setup the new hall.

  6/9 It is obvious that you do have things that you are passionate about perhaps more than just writing things on a discussion forum. I was not making a blanket statement and my observations of JWs are not limited to this board. You would have to agree that JW's have no loyality to the country they are living in. Now is that thinking carried forward when they leave? When jws become xjws are they more liberal or conservative. Although there are some conversative xjws on this board it seems that liberals far out number the conservatives, am I wrong on that?

  Why are there so many yellow dog democrats on JWD? Are most xjws liberals. Perhaps its because JW's have no "sense of nation" because they are taught to believe that all nations are under satantic influence, then when they leave they are without a country, they seem to have no loyalty to anything? What have they done to pay for their freedom (cliche). I'm not pointing a finger but I've found that JWs in general have never done anything for their country or their fellow man.

  I personally don't see anything wrong with his ads. In fact they don't even look like political ads. The ones complaining about them are partisan critics. I don't see where all this hatred for GB comes from. I guess it comes about as fair play since so many people hated Clinton. I think that we will be a stabilizing force in the middle east because of us being in Iraq. If you think that we shouldn't be in Iraq then maybe you need to go there and see why we shouldn't be there. If you have never lived in a suppressive regime like Iraq then shut-up for you know nothing of what you say.

  i was once told that john denver (folk singer of songs like rocky mountain high and such) was on the tonight show one night.

  he was a huge patriot and apparently had no love whatsoever for jw's.

  apparently as the story goes, john gets up to sing a patriotic song and before he begins tells the audience "if there are any jehovah witnesses in the audience, you may want to leave right now.

  freedom96: I have never been to a denver concert but i am telling you exactly what i seen on the johnny carson show. Maybe he only did it at 1 show or maybe several who knows and denver is dead so can't very well email him but there is a discussion board at johndenver.net
