  the v tech shooter bought his guns legally.

  gun control laws don't stop this kind of determined killer anywhere in the world.

  the defenseless victims couldn't carry a gun legally on campus if they had one.

  my cat had this on the sidewalk playing with it!

  he bit the tip of his tail off but my son and i were able to rescue him and turned him loose at our pond.

  he seemed fine.... swalker.

  I've never been in a gunfight so my question is legit. Would it have been possible for several guys to jump on the shooter? Could they have used desks as shields or even thrown them at him? I think we do need more training in what to do if we are in life or death situations and maybe have a few plans worked out in our minds ahead of time.

  VA Tech Incident - Stupid Things People Say

  watching all the pundits on tv after the killings at va tech yesterday, there were a handful of things that kept getting repeated that are just stupid.

  usually they also require an impossible level of hindsight (which a good number of the pundits have, it seems).

  i've just got to rant about this for a few minutes.

  Bottom line is, no one knew what was going to happen or how.

  The school had 2 bomb threats in the 2 weeks prior to this incidence. The news stated that the gunman had a copy of a new bomb threat and they believe he is the one who called in the threats. I wonder if the the students were told about this? The threats were specific to Norris Hall and should have had extra security measures in place! It appears as if they really dropped the ball on this one.

  i was df'd a few years ago and reinstated within 6 months (i was apparently very 'fortunate' aka lucky), but i've been fading ever since really.

  i think i really only got reinstated because i missed my family and friends... it's hard when you were raised in the truth and don't know a soul in the world.

  i keep moving, so it's pretty easy to remain anonymous at the hall.

  SLH...I'd be careful too!!!

  Because it is highly venomous, quick to bite when cornered and very common around Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Hobart, Perth and Canberra, the tiger snake has been responsible for many snakebite deaths in Australia.
