  i was watching the new show on the discovery channel, they had 2 episodes on back to back.

  i can't believe the photography that they come up with.

  the world of the oceans is facinating, so many things i have never seen or imagined.

  Should Christians be involved in politics?

  religions that say they are the sole true path to salvation need to concentrate on their unique points to prove they alone are acceptable to god.

  for this reason jws seem to use the point that they do not get involved in politics as proof that they are special.

  in the old testament there are a number of examples of followers of jehovah being involved in politics, so obviously it can't be that bad.

  I feel that as a Christian you should be involved in what is going on in the world and trying to make it a better place to live. I've had enough of isolating oneself and NOT getting involved, regrettably, to last a lifetime! I wouldn't want to force my views on anyone and feel it should be a personal choice.

  this is a royal walnut moth caterpillar!!!

  that's what it turns into...it's called a hickory horned devil caterpillar at the moment!

  We cut our electricity bill in half

  we did it by reducing television and air conditioner usage, being more conservative about using the oven, getting rid of an old freezer, and changing our light bulbs.

  GGG...I did have a couple burn out and I hadn't saved my receipts. So when I bought the next ones I kept the containers and taped the receipts to them...so far no problems. I figured the same thing you did, that I just got a bad group. My mother has had one burning for several years now. I'd say definately take them back, even without a receipt as they should be able to exchange them out.

  i'm a grown woman and should be able to deal with these things in a more constructive way.

  and yet here i am... my job is doing a contest...bring in your prom photo and the neatest one will win a really cool prize (it's a weekly celebration for back-to-school around here - i'm in the newspaper business.

  I've changed all my lights to CFL's and my electric bill was $30.00 lower than same period last year. I've had to run my air-conditioner more as we've had a heat wave...over 100 for 2 weeks straight and my electric bill was still lower!
