I love all of the bird pictures!!! I took a pic of some baby chickadees this spring...I couldn't believe how big they were and still in the nest!

i went to the norco circut assembly and these are the recent $ numbers quoted ... .
as of 4/14/2007 (the first of two circut assemblies) we had $10,260,22 (a surplus) .

I completely understand what you're talking about. I have a family member that has never been baptized, lives her life as she pleases, but you better not say anything against the JW's!!! She will get up in your face, tell you off, not even allow you to discuss anything with her. She believes it is the "truth"....she just can't measure up. If anyone leaves, according to her, it's their own fault!

LL, that was great!!! I'm still laughing as I try to picture the CO's face!!! (They're not used to being TOLD anything!)
As far as the 23,000 number goes...I think it's low! I just found out this weekend of 3 more JW sisters that were molested when they were small....I personally now know of 15 in this area that have NEVER been reported!!! I think it's happened way more than any of us realize, it just takes a long time for many to get up the courage to say it, and I'm sure there are many that will never talk about it.

I bought this Toyota Prius on Thursday, they gave me a Trac car (Prius) to drive home and said they would deliver my car the next day! I'm still waiting...they are having trouble locating one!!!!! Is this a sad story or what?????

Showdown with the CO!

Just advising caution becaus she sounds like a sweet lady but very naive to think she can just go up to the CO and ask all these questions. Most JWs would know they couldn't just do that.
I agree...most of them will rip you to shreds!!! Which may not be a bad thing! A CO was so rude to me once that I almost left over it...wish I would have, in hindsight!!!

No Excuse to Shun Families - Almost Lost my Son Today
by Gretchen956 ini had such a shock today, its almost bizarre, my son was involved in an accident at work.
he's an ironwoker, which means he works the high steel on skyscrapers and such.
today he was working and tied his safety harness off to the cable as usual, and went to work.. lots of times they have to lean out and rely on that harness to keep them secure while they reach out to do whatever the hell it is they do (best mom's don't always know all), and today his dumbass bosses didn't have the cable attached on one end.
