I'm so sorry for your loss and even more so that you had to endure this type of shunning. The WTS has most of it's members believing that you'll die at the big A if you even walk in a church, much less go to any type of service connected with it. If your faith won't stand up by attending a wedding or funeral in another church, you don't have very much faith...period. Apparently, most JW's have very little!

does jehovah witnesses believe that kissing between man and women before marriage is allowed by the bible?.

the type[s] i have in mind is the kissing between a boyfriend-girlfriend couple [intimate kiss on the lips] or kissing like 'making out' on one night or so.

regarding other types, if jw [&others] think the bible has a different stand, please tell.. thanks in advance,

Wow, this is bringing back a lot of memories for me!!!

I had guys giving me presents in grade school...some of the things I got were: a black rabbit, a coin collection, a bracelet, etc. I just went home and told my mom that some kid at school gave me these presents!!! Some of the poor guys just fell in love with me...thinking back it must have been that I was so athletic (I had 3 older brothers) and could out play most of them. They thought that was cool!!!

I did have an incident that has stayed with me all my life. When I was about 14, there was a neighbor guy, same age, that came riding up to the house on a white horse...I thought he was my savior. We really liked each other, but it never amounted to anything. We would ride his horse bare-back and that was sooooo cool! Of course, that was soon stopped as he wasn't a witness!

after seeing kw13's post about rap in the kh i began looking through a list of famous jdubs http://www.adherents.com/largecom/fam_jw.html , i hadn't realised that the rap artist jah rule had been a jdub.

i wondered if the gb would let such a "brother" put together a rap promo for the society, something along the lines of.

hes one bad brother hes the big creator.

New NFL TEAM?

on the radio today in the north west they are talking about a new poll taken after the supper bowl game, this poll was taken in every state and the conclusion of the poll was that 96% of the people in the us thought the officials determined the outcome game by bad officiating that went against the seahawks favoring the stealers.

AND when the Panthers showed up to play the Seahawks we had some of the 4th string players in there and had been on the road for the last 3 games!!! (If we had won the Dallas game we would have been at home playing!) One guy was playing with a dislocated shoulder, another with a broken hand. It was a sad way to see them go out but I didn't CRY about it. Maybe next year I'll raise a bigger fuss about all the bad calls!!! Boo-hoo!!!

Just had a mammogram

i just had my first mammogram today and i can honestly say it wasn't fun.

i quickly went from feeling just fine to being very worried.

i felt a lump last month and now it is gone.

Usually a technition sends the pics to a dr. They will contact you with results. I would think that had the tech noticed a very obvious problem a dr would have been called immediately. The best thing that you can do is NOT worry and realize that it's likely NOT a problem.

It's coming our way...it's supposed to hit the east coast tomorrow! We've had such a mild winter and now that it's halfway into Feb Mother Nature decides to throw a tantrum!

It's pretty for about a day and then I hope it leaves!
