San Antonio is wonderful! I love Dallas, too! When I am visiting in the surrounding states people always think I'm from Texas because of my accent!

the type[s] i have in mind is the kissing between a boyfriend-girlfriend couple [intimate kiss on the lips] or kissing like 'making out' on one night or so.

now that i'm single again i face the same problem that many baby boomers face: how in the world do you meet somebody??.
i don't go to bars.. i don't like smokers.. i am not nutty enough to be attracted to young and dumb.. crazy music isn't my cup o' tea.. i like conversation with at least some minimal content.. online dating service seem outrageously weird to me.. what's a poor lad to do?.

I think that if you are interested in contacting the spirit world, you have to go where they are sometimes. My son travels with his job and they had to stay at an old hotel that was being renovated in Louisville Ky. My son always got a room in the new section, while some of the people he traveled with didn't. One guy had brought his wife along and when they got in the room all kinds of strange things started happening. The TV turned on by itself. The water did also. It did this during the night as well...they requested another room. Lots of people go there just to stay in the old part and see if anything happens!!! Most people that have encounters are pretty shaken by the experience and don't care to return!!!

I have started a couple of threads about enviornmental issues and no one seems to really care!!! It makes me wonder if it goes back to the JW days when we were cautioned not to get involved...Jehovah would take care of it. Same with politics...not much interest now, but as time goes on and this mess gets worse, are we going to be sorry we didn't exercise our right of free speech? These issues are a lot more important than who has the biggest boobs, just not as entertaining, I guess!!!

she has compared it to a black person having a friend that is a member of a anti-black community.
where else can you get so many varied opinions about a religion that i grew up in, would have died for, have family members that are members of, have questions about myself and find answers to some tough questions i have?
I'm hoping to get that college education I was promised if I read all the WTS publications...since that didn't work, I thought there might be more correct instruction here!

my name is, mike warren... that's my real age in my profile...& yes that's my real pic.
though i was never baptized, i was raised in the silly religion... my parents started their study in early 1974 (at least i got 1birthday &1 christmas, not that i remember...) mom was baptized in less than a year after she started her study... it took my father about 7-8 more years to give up smoking, but he still made all the meetings & ruled with a leather belt.. i also have a younger sister that has faded (she got baptized).
