okay......first of the year.......goals to be made and achieve (hopefully).. one of my goals is to drop a few pounds and firm a few places.
i know better than to get any support from my husband ("oh, you look fine, honey")....so i was wondering if there is anybody (preferrably female) on the board that would be interested in supporting me/and me supporting them (weight loss goal).
i have read of a few females that are trying to lose a few extra......so i am pretty sure i am not alone.. i am trying to focus on eating more healthy and cutting down on snacks.
We have a common joke around the house here....
I was given a pair of swim shorts last year... I put them on, they are way big. I ask the wife "Do these make my ass look fat?" ... she says "No, your ass is fat with or without them!".
Our humor isnt lost on this. She wouldnt ask me about her weight, cuz I will answer honestly. I havenet been slapped yet.....

as some of you know, i commute from phoenix, az to los angeles for my job.
it will last thru january.. several of us have been unsuccessful in getting together thus far, but came up with a plan during a weekend i am there.
i will be staying over thru the weekend of january 4th, in the hotel in el segundo, http://www.embassysuites.com/en/es/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=laxeses .. the hotel has a happy hour from 530pm to 730pm, guests are included.

Our bigger day is new years its self. Every year, almost since we were married, we took a ride on new years day on the motorcycle. Most years, I go by myself since it is too cold (coldest was 5 degrees). Last year we were moving and couldnt. Tomorow we will bundle up and take a ride in the 70 degree weather.
