You have made a really good point and that is that there is motive behind this, therefore, it is another thing that we can point to when discussing the problems with the WBTS.

Yeah, I mean how would the conversation go in a governing body committee meeting?

Brother A: We have the illustrations that we have been putting into our publications for years, and we are getting many letters of concerne from our brothers and sisters worldwide. They say they are seeing all kind of hidden pictures in our publications, disturbing images and they want aswers.

Brother B: What kinds of images?

Brother A: You know, satanic,demonic looking faces . . . whichcraft and zodial symbols, you know stuff like that.

Brother B: Let's just print and article denying it and that will be that . . . end of controvery.

Brother A: Would it not also be prudent to use our lastes state of the art laser equipment to retouch the questionable pictures before we print up the new edition of that book next month? This would correct whatever brothers and sisters have been seeing in their publications. With a cleaner new edition without any hidden images, the people would then really forget and focus on the message of God's Kingdom.

Brother B: No, no, my dear brother. That latest state of the art laser equipment you speak of is used for the soul purpose of introducing the cleverly hidden images in the pages of the literature. It might accept clean untainted artwork.

one interesting observation that is of note is the two different positions that the wt religion teaches on the idea .

concerning the issue the witnesses having to identify themselves as being a member of the watchtower organization for their salvation one the one hand, it is taught that were one to impute salvation toward ?an organization?

don't we all love our freedom of speech?

i miss the days when i was growing up when rock groups, singer/songwriters and other types of entertainers spoke out against racism, the vietnam war, etc.

it felt to me like people were more passionate about making the world a better and more fair place.

The Bourne Supremacy

mary and i have been robert ludlum fans for years and have read everything he's written.

the bourne series is one of my favs, and i forgave director dave liman for completely deviating from ludlum's original plot in the bourne identity because the film was so cool.

mary and i were excited to go and see the new bourne film, the bourne supremacy, and were a bit dissapointed.

I loved the Bourne books but because I knew the book, the movie was disappointing.

Yeah, nothing in the movie was even close to the book . . . except for the part about Bourne being pulled out of the sea . . . that's where the similarities end. I still liked the first movie tho.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

does anyone think it is wrong to still be a 'wittness' on the outside in order to ensure their family's love and support even though they know inside their living the "double life" i mean i want my family at my wedding and help me buy my first apartment.

i think certain familllies cannot bear the idea of one of their own "falling from the truth" (so it goes) so its a secret i hide.

but my long time boyfriend says i should tell my family how i really feel when we become engaged (he's not a wittness) in the future.

I do not think it is really an issue of right or wrong, and I have to agree with some of the others when they say that each one of us have to do what is right for ourselves.

Personally, I could not lead a double life for very long. It would make me absolutely nuts. And those who do successfully live a double life are doing it for reasons so personal and so varied that you probably could not count them all. It might seem very noble to some that you would lead a double life in order to keep from hurting those you love, however, how much are you allowing the situation to hurt and damage you in the meantime? La-la-lander JW's who are true believers do not care how you are suffering, only that you get disciplined so you repent and become a mindless borg like them. Ah, such bliss, no?

Mary and I have been Robert Ludlum fans for years and have read everything he's written. The Bourne series is one of my favs, and I forgave director Dave Liman for completely deviating from Ludlum's original plot in the Bourne Identity because the film was so cool.

Mary and I were excited to go and see the new Bourne film, The Bourne Supremacy, and were a bit dissapointed.

Every single scene was filmed with a hand-held cam and I was just begging inside for the damn camera man to hold still for a moment. Too much camera movement . . . way too much.

The action/fight sequences was a complete blurrrrr and all you saw was, ummm nothing but lots of blurry motion with really cool sound effects.

The car chase sequence was nothing more than cut to this blurry shot of the car rounding a corner, then cut to that blurry shot of a collision . . . than a blurry foot hitting the excellorator, then cut to tires squeeling around another corner . . . you just could not tell where the hell they were going or what they were actually doing . . . oh my garsh!

The movie really had some great potential to be as good as the first, but the cinematography and editing really sucked. They really dropped the ball on this film. How sad. The sound was pretty good, tho.
