It repeats itself so self-proclaimed profits and fortune tellers like yourself might just come to understand it really does mean what is says. If you are not willing to believe the Bible, I am not willing to believe you. And yes, meds do work if you take them as directed.

  many of you may recall my account of sil's dad.

  he was arrested in early 2002, put on trial in 2003, and spent 6 months of a five year sentence in jail for molesting a young girl of twelve.

  Who allowed him to keep custody? Was there no one else better, another close family relative perhaps? I assume it was not the judge or prosecutor since you say they could only warn Child Services? Was another judge or legal entity involved?

  Yes, I am hung up over that incredibly irresponsible decision. Circumstances like that should not happen in this day an age. How can they just ignore the welfare of a 5 year old child obviously at risk?

  The trouble with leaving one relationship and going into another is that you take yourself with you. This skill ("love strategies"), I guess you can call it, is something I started working on while still in my first marriage, but it was so hard to impliment it with my ex-wife because . . . well . . . she's a nutjob. But with Mary it's been totally different.

  LOL, sorry. It was not an order, but simply enthusiastic supplication.

  It's just that when the idea was first presented to me, I did have to think about it. The very idea that there were specific things my significant other unconsciously did or said to elicit a loving response in me was interesting and helped me to understand my own "love strategies" as it were. The conclusion I came to was astonishing to me. It opened me up to explore all kinds of things inside myself and opened alot of doors for me emotionally while making my relationships better once I understood what the hell I was really doing.

  And sure, all of those things can elicit a loving response in all of us, however, if you really thought about it, what is the one "strategy" you respond to every time more than the others?

  Thinking back, I suppose most of us here were living a lie when we first began having doubts about the organization, but stayed in denial over it for whatever period of time until we started to admit the truth to ourselves . . .

  . . . and I guess I do sometimes lie by omission, but it is keeping with the principal that sometimes you should withhold the truth from those who are not emotionally ready to handle the truth (not the same as withholding the truth from those who don't deserve to know the truth as the WTBTS asserts) which I feel can be seen as an act of love rather than an act of malice or deception. The truth always comes out with rare exceptions and I think it has its own timetable for doing so.

  Depends, my little chocolated- hearted pal... Do they need 'slammin'?

  LOL, poor minimus has been "slammed" from an identity crisis and I think it should be explained that mini's avitar character is NOT a red m&m. It is the little red 7-up dot.

  No meds problem here, Corvin....I ask because I notice that it seems we've weeded out all the nasty posters who only wanted to "slam" (abuse, beat up) others! JWD has turned into a place that anybody can come to and not feel like they're gonna be beat up.

  It was nothing more than a playful joke, mini, but the question does seem to hold an underlying stirring spoon.

  instead of trick or treat i would say that i am wandering about like a roaring lion seeking to devour someone!
