How many Artists here? Which field of Art?
by invisible ini know i asked this absolutely yonks back, then by the name of celtic, but with so many newcomers here i thought no harm but to ask once again.. how many artists do we have here or working in art related fields including film, music, theatre, environment, gardening, sculpture, graphic design, illustration, fine art, photograpy etc etc?.

so does the next harry potter movie look like its going to be good? I loved the first one . Loved the books even more. I read all four in 2 weeks . Couldn't get enough even though they are evil and full of witches and magic. Oh well i guess i'm posessed now after reading such evil .ha ha ha.

so whats wrong with fathers day?
by annalice infathers day is coming up and this will be the first year that i will be getting my dad the card and a gift .
i mentioned it to someone and they acted like i was commiting a sin.
so what problem do the jw's have with this holiday ?

I really don't care if it is but i think that if you're going to say somthing is bad you should back it up with a reason why.

letter read last night at all meetings
by annalice ini just talked to a friend who is still a jw and she said there was a letter read last night at her k.hall that said that what was on dateline was a lie and not to listen to it.
i asked her if she watched the show and she said yes she had and she couldn't believe the lies that they told.
she also said " oh but did you see that girl erica larson was wearing a cross on her necklace?

" well " she says "i wouldn't believe anything she says anyway , i mean after all she is disfellowshipped and is an apostate and you can't believe them at all" After i swallowing all the words that sprang up into my mouth i said "oh ok" and i walked away. If i said what came to my head at that moment i would never get any information out of her again , and she is a good source of info from the inside. did anyone else hear what this letter said?

I love that picture of Tye. My sister and I LOVE when he's on . I call her down in North Carolina just to tell her that he's on. He's soooooooooo funny and sooooooooooo HOT. I love trading spaces and i absolutely love Changing Rooms,except that i pick up accents very easily and then walk around all day speaking with a english accent without even realizing it.

"Dateline" Denial Syndrome
by FriendlyFellaAL injust got off the phone with my mother...she is in such deep denial over this whole thing.
i can't believe that she had the nerve to actually stand up for the fellow in the legal department at headquarters regarding the advice he give to bill bowen.
she told me that he's just an imperfect human.

my husband who still supports the witnesses watched the dateline show with me and his reaction was- oh well. I started crying watching it and he said he still believes that the witnesses are gods earthly org. UGGGGHHHHH! How blind can people be? I can't believe that i used to be the same way.

yes i knew the Allens from Ballston Spa. I was brought up in Ballston aand went to the Ballston spa up until i married in 92 then i attended the rotterdam cong. in schenectady untill we moved back to ballston several years ago. The ballston cong is known throughout the circuit as a really bad cong. they had to send elders in from other congs. to try to clean it up . But that didn't work. I tried going to the saratoga meetings for a while but after going to ballston and seeing all the coruption and backstabing its left me feeling a bit turned off from the whole witness thing. Just this last year a young women i know from saratoga cong. told me how she and two other sisters were molested as young children by an elder. She has just recently gone to the elders on this and was told not to report it beause she would be bringing a bad name onto jehovahs house. They told her to just let it go and to not be so selfish thinking only of herself. I told her about the silentlambs web site and to look it up . She never did she went right back to blindly following what the elders say. So sad.
