Homefries cubed ,not shredded, bacon, rye toast ,scrambled eggs ,firm, and a giant cup of coffee. And its the best when someone else has made it for me.

How are the Denim Police in your area?
by Open mind inour co will not let the no denim at bethel prohibition die.. in recent visits to nearby congos he has made it very clear that denim is not to be worn at meetings or in field circus.. if any of the "aged women" notice younger women wearing the forbidden fabric, they are to speak with them.

I remember when denim became the devils fabric. Oh boy did you get some looks of disaproval if you dared wear it . It had its own rules, if it was real heavy weight denim that was a no no, but, if it was more of a lightweight softer finish denim then you could get away with it. It was also tolerated if the skirt was a more tailored long straight style as oppossed to the more casual full flared skirt. I was such a rebel for wearing a denim skirt. Maybe I will go to the memorial with a denim skirt with smurfs printed all over it. AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

when ever i see a jw's obituary in the paper, every time at the end ,it always says contributions can be made to the watchtower society.
do the elders get right to you to get you to put that in the paper when writing up the obituary or what?

When ever I see a JW's obituary in the paper, every time at the end ,it always says contributions can be made to the Watchtower society. Do the elders get right to you to get you to put that in the paper when writing up the obituary or what? I statred thinking about my own mother who is still a Full believing witness even though she only goes occasionally. If she were to pass away I wonder if the elders would dare approach me about the whole contribution thing. She has never mentioned anything about it and she has no will. but do they try to get the living relatives to go along with the whole society contribution thing??

Cleaning the litter box, and unclogging hair from bathroom sink . YUCK! Being pregnant was great because I was not suppossed to clean the litter box . 9 months of no litter duty. Its almost worth getting pregnant again .lol.

Urgent Help Please
by Gladring ina friend is being hassled by a body of elders to go to a judicial committee.
i have advised against going but if they go ahead.... the question is are you entitled to have a representative of your own at a judicial committee?.

I have gone through the same thing with a good friend of mine also,and I advised her to not go . We need to stop and realize that these people who are demanding that we come and meet with them are really just a group of men who have no authority over us unless we let them. They are not the Law. They are normal everyday men who go to normal everyday jobs and then get together and act like they rule over us. I would try to get your friend to just not go. Why put yourself through something like that ? what are they going to do come and get you if you dont show up? We are the ones with the power ,we can sit down and let them rule us, or we can stand up and guide ourselves.

I've always wondered about this myself. Here is God of the universe ,he kicks out the devil and his demons from heaven and then tells him "here you go , I'm sending all of you down to this world I created full of the people I love and I'm going to let you have free reign over them ,Go ahead rule the world satan,do what you want with my people. But then after a little while , ohh give or take several thousand years I'm going to come down kill everyone who followed you and your governments take you and throw you into a thousand year abiss ,THENNNN let you out for a little while longer to see if anyone will follow you and then ,finally I'm going to totally destroy you." If you were a ruler of a country would you send convicted killers and phsychos to live among the inoccent ? giving the convicts free reign to do whatever they wanted with your people? what kind of caring loving person would do that? That in no way displays the love that we have always been told that god has for us. Thats some sick twisted love.
