Hi Jon

Hi Jon
Welcome to the forum. I'm from Perth too.
:)
i really like this board.
i hate making this statement bec i dont want you to all start hating me.
but since i came on here i have been researching a lot.
Hi Holly
You need to sit down, pray and then read the bible properly (preferably with the Interlinear book). Go and looked up also historical accounts of how Peter die and asked yourself this ... you believe in the cross or the pole??
BTW ... I am happy whenever a patient received blood transfusion and lives
.
since the elder is out i have to conduct tonight!.
any suggestion on subtle little comments i can get away with when we study page 143 thru 147?
DaCheech
p146 - paragraph 19
Rev 7:9-17
You asked them how many times the Great Crowd was mentioned in Revelation or the entire bible? And then you tell them it occurs only twice in Revelation.
You then asked someone to elaborate on the Great Crowd in front of the throne (Rev 7:9) and also on the part that says God who is seated on the throne part (Rev: 7:10). And then you ask "Where is this throne? Is it a spiritual throne or a physical throne? "
And then you do a little of side-track to the Great Crowd in Rev 19:1 that says "Great Crowd in Heaven". And then you ask someone to elaborate on this and to compare the context of the two great crowds. And then you tell them, "Of course, the Great Crowd in Rev 7:9 and the Great Crowd in Rev 19:1 is not the same. The anointed brothers told us the great crowd in Rev 19:1 is in fact a SPIRITUAL Great Crowd consists of all the good angels and the little flock and does not consists of the PHYSICAL Great Crowd in Rev 7:9."
Hopefully, the "weak" ones will stumble. (In other words, the smart ones will see the TRUTH).
Becareful of the antichrists.
well, i guess i can say that on my asian trip i knowingly consumed three new animals i had not eaten before (my apologies to vegetarians on the board who might cringe at the way that was worded).
first off, pigeon.
on my birthday in beijing we ate at a very pricey, fancy restaurant at the hotel and we thought we'd try to pigeon to see what it was like.
Hi Leolaia
How do you know the meat is not dog meat? They tricked unsuspecting customers all the times ...
Enjoy ...
you'll be getting the aug. 1 watchtower soon.
on it's rear cover, it has the following article:.
"the branch office of jehovah's witnesses in nigeria recently received a letter that, in part.
One elder told a very similar story (I think he was reading from a letter from the society) a few years back it was about an African boy who have two chickens. He intended to keep them for breeding but one of them died so he sold the other chicken for $1 and posted the $1 to the Watchtower or it could be a boy with two chickens and his chickens lay some eggs and he sold the eggs for $1.
This is about the third time I heard the boy and the chicken story from WT. Mentally challenged people are easy to trick that's why this chicken story will bring $$ to the borg.
prepare for a long read.
its some interesting drama yea.
well i've known this girl for a month and a half now she came from the spanish congregation to the english congregation, her dad's an elder and i heard she was pretty wild.
Hi crizlee
If the girl still flirt with you and make you feel uncomfortable then you tell the elders and let them deal with her.
Let her know how you feel. You need to tell her what a **** bitch she is to her face.
charles taze russell, founded the jw in the 1860's.
which is based on his own interpretations of the bible.
he had no theology education, and did not know the greek, and hebrew language.. question: how can an average man, with "no" education, interpret the bible correctly?.
Charles Taze Russell, founded the JW in the 1860's. Which is based on his own interpretations of the Bible. He had no theology education, and did not know the Greek, and Hebrew Language.
This is why Russell sux at bible reading.
Question: How can an Average man, with "no" education, interpret the Bible correctly?
No average man can interprete the whole bible because a person anointing with the Holy Spirit is not an average man. If Russell is an average man then he does not have the Spirit.
Question: Why would God allow man, to go for so long, up until the 1860's, without the correct interpretations of the Bible?
The Apostles and Jesus did a damn good job at interpreting the Holy Scriptures or are you imlying Russell interprete the Scriptures better than Christ.
Question: Why would God guide, lead, and empower, people to write the scripture in a way that we could not understand, and interpret?
Who said the whole Scripture is for the average man? Only with the help of the Holy Spirit one can get them correct.
Question: How do we know Charles Taze Russell was right in his interpretations?
I know why he is so wrong in many ways because he is an average man.
Question: Why should i, base my beleif on what an average man, such as myself, interpreted the Bible to really say, and mean?
Test the Spirit and you will see whether the Spirit is from God.
with my phd!
finally after all these long years.
the funny thing tho is that i'm walking through the ceremony, but not getting my diploma... yet.
Leolaia
I am so happy for you. Congrats on the exam!
Nice work.
Hi Spooner
I believe in the Holy Spirit (person). And she is definitely not the same as God.
