  a friend forwarded me the following e-mail written by an ex-jw.

  looks like he is discouraged and needs some help.

  I know Frank personally. Once I asked him what gave him the first clue that something is wrong with the Governing Body. Frank said it was the release of a new book. He was impressed with the "new light" published in this than new book and begun talking about it to one of the governing body members.

  The guy (the GB member) gave him shit for talking about things not in harmony with the teachings of the faithful and discrete slave. Frank became confused but he didnt tell the guy that he read this in the new book.

  It was bothering him for a while, and one day he told about it to a senior member of the writing department. The guy at the writing department told Frank that some of the governing body members dont read the publications at all. It takes a couple of years for some of them to catch up with the new light.

  It would be nice to print up several thousands of these stickers and sell them from door-to-door on Saturday afternoons (Just after the JWs finished their weekly preaching). Most people have a couple of Dollars in their pockets and would buy them.

  They could stick it on their doors and the JW would see them in sevice. It would be a good idea to put http://www.jehovahs-witness.com on it.

  The Dubs would learn the URL and would probably check this site out.

  My biggest problem with the Watchtower is that they deceived me with their unfair recruiting practices. If the Live Forever book would have mentioned that they failed to predict the end of the world many times, that they banned organ transplants and vaccinations, etc. etc. etc., than I would have never become one of Jehovahs Witnesses.

  Sincerely believing something what is false is not the same as knowingly, deliberately, deceiving someone. They are cone artists and as such they should be held responsible. They hurt people and that is wrong!

  Class action law suits and publicity must go on in order to protect the naive and uninformed from joining and destroying their lives. If they still want to be a JW after knowing the whole truth about the organization thats fine with me.

  Doesn't a religion have the right to interpret the Bible/Koran/Torah/<anything else> as they see fit and create a religion with practices that they interpret to be in sync with their own holy book? What right does the government have to say "you can't believe that, you must do it this way"?

  How about the terrorists? Do they have the right to murder because their religious leaders tell them to do it? Don't they just practice what they believe?
