  Would you have left sooner?

  if you were still in the jw religion and wanted out, and an opportunity was presented to you to leave everything behind and escape your jw life, would you have taken it?.

  when i was 15, my brother had mentioned that i could come and live with him at age 16 if i wanted to, away from the jw religion, away from my parents.

  i was seriously considering it, but it never happened.

  In a really weird kind of way... I appreciate the time I was in the Org. There were certain things and skills I learned in there that I don't think I would have known without ever being in the Troof. I am currently trying to think positive things about my time in there. All I can say is it made me what I am today, and I think I like me. Sure there was lots of crap that caused me lots of problems, but when it came to the crunch, I ended up where I wanted to be.

  Would I leave earlier? Probably not (I can't believe I'm even typing this) if it affected my outcome in life. If I could be the same person and never have been in the Org, then yes. I enjoy my relationship with God that the Org helped me recognize (though in a screwy way), and God has helped me many times in my life.

  do you ever wonder why jw's are the most ridiculed?

  they are made fun of more than any other religion.

  it makes me think about jesus and how he was persecuted and ridiculed for being righteous.

  a couple of years ago, i wondered what mine was and contacted my hospital that has my records.

  Feces were also smeared on the church, police said.

  I have never quite understood this. It does more harm to the vandals than anything. Sure the KH has crap on it, but it can be hosed off. The vandal on the other hand is a retard for playing with his own sh*t, probably now stinks of kaka and has to scrub his hands and fingernails.
