but, the first pages make out the basis for the belief in our days being the last ones, the final ones, and 607 is mentioned, 539 and 537 - but not 1914, not the "seven times" or "2520 years".. do you remember 1995, when the "generation change" came?

when was the last time these 2 dates were mentioned and correlated together?
You've probably forgotten, but there was a study article this year that did exactly that: it correlated 607 and 1914.

I guess this is some evidence that some WT writers want to emphasize 1914 knowing that lack of mention to it will increase doubt in inquiring R&F minds. At the same time, others would like to diminish its as much as possible, as evident in the growing scarcity of references to the date in recent years.

just seen on the british news a commemoration of the soldiers who fought in wwi.. the generation has by no means passed away.
there are 23 old british soldiers remaining, although sadly only 4 were able to attend the commemoration at the cenotaph.
the youngest is still only 104.. so there is hope yet that the prophecy may still be fullfilled.. has to be quick though boys !!.
WTS doctrine is so fuzzy they can't even manage it. Even to this date, they still have "Old Light" in watchtower.org with respect to the generation of 1914. The "old light" can be found in the following brochures:

This is totally ridiculous. They themselves don't have any esteem for their own doctrine. They simply don't care enough to make changes to the site. No wonder they put the New World Translation online only after seven years of the official site's inception on the Web.

Yeah, there should be of course room for fluff and fun , but exposing truth (and lies ) as well as supporting one another (and lurkers) are an integral part of our interactions here.
I would also add up one more point:
4) To awaken the researcher inside all of us... (that's what your posts do! Please keep on being a research addict; I bet people are loving your posts!)
Just let me know when you plan to go into any office lobbies with Trinity, and I'll be sure to steer clear out of the way.... ;)
