ROMA - Paura per duemila persone, tutti quanti testimoni di Geova, a Roma. Un uomo che si è identificato come Angelo Cicero, 35 anni, già noto alle forze dell'ordine ed anch'egli ex testimone di Geova, si è barricato nel pomeriggio di sabato all'interno del tempio dei fedeli che si trova in piazzale Hegel nella zona di san Basilio.
L'uomo, armato di una pistola e a quanto sembra di una cintura esplosiva, ha minacciato di farsi esplodere mostrando alcuni fili elettrici che gli escono dalla giacca. Per un'ora le persone che si trovavano all'interno della struttura, tra cui numerosi bambini, sono state tenute in ostaggio e poi tutte quante liberate. I carabinieri intervenuti sul posto hanno fatto evacuare la struttura. Anche il sindaco di Roma Walter Veltroni ha seguito da vicino l'evolversi della vicenda che si è conclusa fortunatamente con il fermo dell'uomo, bloccato e immobilizzato dai carabinieri.CHI E' - Angelo Cicero, originario di Paternò (Palermo) un anno fa era stato espulso dai Testimoni di Geova. Non ha spiegato i motivi del suo gesto ma ha chiesto soltanto di poter parlare. That's an excellent letter. Concise and to the point. You didn't miss a perfect chance to expose the deep contradiction and hypocrisy of the WT. What's the problem with a few quotes in a Web site when this printing company has published thousands of pages? They are only embarassing themselves and making it easier to expose their double standards.
