Ali is back in the hospital

probably something wrong with her pacemaker.
she had a cold with a bad cough last week, and a lead may have come loose.

Cult Documentary on Sundance
by dontplaceliterature ini watched a cult documentary called "join us" on sundance today.. it is showing a few more times, if you have that channel.
it was very interesting.
the cult that it follows uses a lot of the same lingo and focuses on a lot of the same scriptures as jehovah's witnesses.

My uncle has died.
by LouBelle inlast week wednesday at about 11:40 pm, on a cold and rainy night, my uncle breathed his last breath.
he was at hospice and he was alone.
alone because the whole family was there the previous night saying their goodbyes.

Householder is just not that into it if...
by White Dove ini was thinking about how inefective the ministry really is, no matter how often one goes to a householder's door for years.. they just never bite the bate, yet the jw will keep going back.. jw's are clueless.
they need to know the signs the hhs give them.. it reminds me of that book he's just not that into you..

A JW family lives two doors away from me; the next town away from me lives one of my best friends from college. My friend has received return visits from my neighbor for years, but I "innoculated" her years ago against JW tactics and teachings (thanks to this site). As a result she'll never join but my neighbor keeps going in order, I assume, to count her time - pretty pathetic. My friend is too nice not to put a stop to it.
