Do a new thread. I love cycling - long distance riding on a road bike. I completed my 3rd TRAM (The Ride Across Minnesota) a few weeks ago, a 300 mile ride over 5 days to fundraise for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
this young man from wisconsin has been battling cancer for many years.
his doctor told him that they have done everything humanly possible to help him but that he will die.
it's very sad to see this 28 year old man break down as he does.. personally, i don't think i could go on youtube or anywhere else and video myself telling the world, "goodbye"..
Thanks Radar. The plan is to keep him as pain free as possible. I'm the youngest of 9 and he's second youngest, so we grew up doing pretty much everything together. I wish there was something I could do for him.

I just found out yesterday that my brother has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, with no hope for recovery or even chemo - he's been given 2 - 10 months.

I second the recommendation on getting a crock pot - food preparation is simple and almost foolproof. A hot air cooker is also good.
