Finally! -- Why the WTS Discourages Higher Education
by Recovery ini'm sure many of you have been wondering why the wts has stuck to it's adamant viewpoint of higher education.
let's settle it once and for all.
this will prove conclusively why it's in young people's best interests to avoid higher education.. candace conti has inspired hundreds, perhaps thousands of young girls across america to successfully take on the wts.

So, apparently I hate myself....
by EntirelyPossible ininstead of doing what i normally do on sunday mornings after i drop the kids off at their mom's house, that is, go play golf, smoke a cigar and then watch sports with my buddy (or go to the range, depending), i am instead, for some reason i haven't yet fathomed, am watching john hagee preach on tv.
it's raining today, so i am at home instead of being out.. ostensibly, i turned on the tv to watch/listen to espn while i clean up around the house.
john hagee was on when i turned the tv on, i was instantly fascinated.

Yeah, Hagee is a hoot to watch. It's unbelievable how many people fall under his spell and others like him. He reminds me a lot of Rush Limbaugh.

A new hope in the fight against superbugs
by oldlightnewshite injust managed to download this week's episode of bbc's horizon science programme (which is always bloody brilliant, you can catch it on the bbc site, on iplayer, or on torrents), which was about the fight against bacterial staff infections in hospitals.
it's a thing i've been worried about for a long time, as i've been aware that doctors recently are lamenting that antibiotics are becoming less effective, and they can't create new ones quick enough.
stories were going around that in the very near future we won't have any antibiotics left in the fight against bacteria.. one way they've discovered is to use a particular virus which wipes out bacteria by invading it, and replicating itself inside the cell until it dies.. also, it turns out that scientists in a lab in noo joisey have discovered that bacteria communicate among one another using chemical signals.

So, basically bacteria send eachother chemical (electrical) signals and end up with a mob mentality!
Sounds just like the middle east, the bacterial infection on the butt of the world.

People unfamiliar wth JWs might swallow what the aritcle says, but the least amount of research will reveal it to be a load of BS (I've got this place to thank for that ).
At least there are commenters who are cluing in the public about some of that BS. I get a kick out of the guy who denies he's a dub, and in fact says he's an agnostic, yet he's playing the apologist role.

How Do The Two Masturbation Guys Feel?
by RayPublisher ini'm wondering how they feel about their likeness being spammed all over the internet right now?
i'll bet they didn't sign up for this kind of attention.. it reminds me of an article wired magazine did on youtube a couple years ago about people that had their careers or social life ruined by a viral youtube video.. anyway, it would be interesting to find out who these guys are and what may or may not end up happening with them over this..
