  this morning i took my dog who is a therapy dog over to the hospital and visited with several patients.

  it is quite an experience, and it really helps people undergoing medical treatment to calm down and relax.. my wife was one of those patients, she is undergoing some tests before getting her gall bladder removed which will probably be sometime tomorrow.. afterwards i took the dog home, cleaned her up, and changed my clothes.

  since i was alone i drove over to panara to try one of their breakfast sandwiches, several of the nurses told me that they are pretty good.

  Sorry for your experience with those heartless people, and kudos to you for showing your humanity to others with your dog.

  I hope your wife's surgery goes well and that she has a rapid recovery. I had my GB removed 4 years ago and it's made a big difference. I hope she's able to have the new kind of procedure - my condition required the old fashioned incision and now I have a very handsome scar. I tell people I got it in a knife fight.

  i've studied with like 30 diff denominations.

  i really feel jw is best for me.

  i think it's the 144,000 part & the once a year get together when they pass around the sacrament that bothers me most.

  Glad to see you are still here, forbethel. Stick around and explore the site. If you were a JW and did that and were discovered you'd be in deep trouble. Now is the time to investigate all sides. There are many exJWs for a reason - this site is testimony to that, so stay and learn from those who know of what they speak.

  How can I cross over?

  By ignoring that feeling that something isn't right about the whole thing. Intuitively you know something isn't right; learn to listen to that intuition, otherwise you'll sacrifice your ability to think for yourself as you let an organization dictate what you should believe and how to conduct your life. Think about it - you came here thinking this was a pro JW site, and you were hoping someone would snuff out your own intuition and common sense. Do you really want to let another entity override your own intuition? Consider yourself lucky you came here first. Stick around and learn from people who know from experience what the JWs are all about.

  I've heard this guy before; finally, a Christian theologian that makes sense and someone that I can respect. It's guys like this that give me hope for Christianity - far too few of those around, imho.

  Take some nice long soaks in a hot bathtub, and if you have access to one with jacuzzi jets even better.
