@Morpheus - The title is just the subject of the post, not necessarily who they are asking the question of. They just want to know if we think that elders and GB members monitor the site to catch people. There have actually been people that were reported based off of posts here, so when you post on a public forum anything can happen. You take your own cult life in your hands when you post here. Whether or not they actively watch things who can know, but anecdotally there have surely been people that were outed through any participation online.

remind you i'm only 17. i tried to ask her why i had to go out in service if this isn't what i believe in and whatnot.
she went on saying basically these are the rules for this house.

So I know a lady in her 60's (I think) that is an atheist that still goes door to door. She's in too deep to leave. I asked her how she goes in service. She tries to go to doors by herself (not always possible) and either does the old air knock where she pretends to knock or ring. If she is with someone or stumbles upon a person at home she simply has a prepared scripture that has a nice secular message and reads it to the person and says she's just giving people a positive thought for the day and leaves. She isn't placing literature, just sharing a nice thought, telling them to have a great day, and moving on. No damage done.

Yeah, that whole "breeding act" statement was just so awkward and cringeworthy. They just can't speak like normal human beings. Everything is so fake and strange. I remember even as a kid going to my mom with the YPA book, or maybe it was the articles in the Awake, and being like "who talks like this". If they wanted to speak to young people they should have spoken to them like normal human beings, not the fake ass posers they were. This is just more of the same. They're just humans that have had the humanity drummed out of them. They are empty inside.
