I love to cook. Our range and ovens are electric, although I would prefer gas. The range is a countrtop unit on one side of the kitchen. The ovens are a pair built into the wall on the opposite side of the kitchen.
I also prepare dinners once or twice a week over charcoal and hardwoods in a either a grille or a smoker on the patio. I don't mind knee deep snow in the back yard ... I'll be out there smoking a slab of spareribs for the family & drinking a beer.

i got a photocopied letter from a good friend today, requesting that i send a pair of (new) knickers to her friend, then forward six copies of the letter to my friends asking them to forward a pair of knickers to her.
they then have to forward a copy of the letter to six of their friends asking them to send a pair of knickers to me.........and so on.
i get 36 pairs of knickers for the price of one, arriving in two weeks time.. according to the letter, it is not a chain letter as it is between friends, and just for fun.
Hmmmm ... wonder how I could re-engineer this campaign to involve "nearly new" panties ...
i was talking with one of my brothers recently, and he commented on something he's noticed while travelling.
he noticed that a lot of kingdom halls seem to be popping up in rural areas.
i know that a town in the next county built one outside of town a couple of years ago, and the kh in my own town has a 'for sale' sign on the lawn.
I figured that the purchase price & construction costs would likely be less in a rural setting. My brother was speculating about other possible reasons. All the same, I hadn't noticed a 'trend', so I asked here. Thanks for the input.

(Not sure if they built a new one outside of town or not, though. I haven't gone looking.)
Is there a trend towards moving halls outside of city limits?
