Agreed. Love is something you have to do ... because there are so many times that you'd rather strangle someone than actually do something nice for them ... but it takes those acts of kindness to maintain a relationship & to survive as a species.

i caught my boyfriend of 8 years cheating on me about a month ago.
he claims it is the only time he has ever cheated and he never thought he would ever cheat nor would he ever do it again.
some of my friends are upset at me saying i should have left him immeditately.

Was his cheating a one-night event? Or an on-going affair? Sometimes the reasons for cheating are as simple as some mis-guided ego drive that feeds on the attention, or an internal need to do something "wrong" and dirty. More often, it's because something is missing (or is perceived to be missing) in the primary relationship.
Forgiving, or breaking up is a decision for the two of you, and not for your friends or anyone else. cheese casadia: shred some cheese on a tortilla, add some cut up lunch meat (chicken is best) sprinkle hot sauce and microwave for 45 seconds.
sprinkle more hotsauce (if you like, i love it) and place another tortilla on top of the cheese, meat, and hot sauce.
Kraft Macaroni and cheese dinner, prepared according to directions, with sliced hot dogs added, and Ketchup on the side. Wow! I really miss my poor Pioneer days....
Or prepare the macaroni & cheese, then add a can of tuna (drained), a can of cream of mushroom soup, and a small can of peas. I haven't made it that way in probably 20 years.
Crock-pots are a great invention. Load 'em up before you leave for work and turn it on low. There's a recipe book in the box with the crock-pot, and you'll find more crock cooking books at most bookstores (or amazon.com).

I take it you scrupulously obey all traffic regulations, no matter what.
LMAO! Alan, I'm lucky in some respects, because the State of Indiana has not enacted these silly regulations governing cell phone use. And my truck is exempt from seat belt laws. But I regularly bend the other rules, especially the speed limit.
I just find it ironic that you endorse additional legislation while selectively rejecting existing laws as being 'artificially restrictive'.

The other day I was driving on a local two-lane-in-each-direction road here in town. The speed limit is an artificially low 40 mph, so I usually go just under 50, along with about half the other drivers.
So, if I understand this correctly, Alan, you support the development of more government regulations which you and about half of the other citizens will blatantly ignore and disobey once you decide that the law is too restrictive?

As for the movie, I watched it just the other night with my son. And what I wondered at the end was this: how many times did "Phil" re-live his day before he finally made it out of the repeating cycle? I mean, he had enough time to learn to play the piano, learn french, read & memorize poetry, learn sculpting ...

i wonder why i feel most of these laws simply had to com from the us of "#%&= a - but it's true.
never the less, they should tell a bit about the people both accepting, obeying amd making these laws.
