Why do Jehovah's Witnesses contemplate suicide?
by Sirius Dogma inhere is an excerpt from an article i was reading.. you can read the full and much longer version here.. http://www.jwinfoline.com/documents/death/suicide.htm.
a problem common among jehovah's witnesses is the feeling that they are not going to make it to live past armageddon.
even though they keep a rigorous schedule of activities designed to earn them a righteous standing with jehovah, the witnesses themselves are keenly aware that they fall far short of the perfect standard set by god.. why do so many jehovah's witnesses consider suicide at one time or another?

I can't figure that out. I've thought about snuffing others' candles a few times, but could never understand why anyone would take their own life. If someone wants me dead, they'd better be prepared to take matters into their own hands, or they need a lot of patience. My family includes a lot of folks who lived to ripe old ages.

she said Geneva, Indiana is where the Amish are moving in droves & not keeping things clean
Well, yeah. That is the ass end of Adams County. The Amish are all over Geneva, but there seem to be even more around Berne (originally settled by Mennonites, from whom the Amish split about 300 years ago) and Monroe. And Elkhart County has the largest community of Amish outside of Pennsylvania.
I dunno. When you drive down US 27 through Geneva, it's easy to spot the Amish farms, because they have no power lines or phone lines running to the houses. The mailbox says Schwartz or Gruber or something like that. There are buggies in the yard, and white or blue shirts hanging on the clothesline. But they usually keep things neat & tidy from what I can see.

Where do you find spiritual fulfillment now?
by marked inhey everyone.. i've been "out" for about six months now, fully enjoying life for the first time in a very long time.
part of my joy comes from the freedom i now have to explore other spiritualities.. i will say, though, that since leaving i've felt something lacking in my life.
not because i regret my decision to leave.

So, where do you go to satiate your spiritual thirst?
The First Church of NASCAR. Beats the heck outta spending Sundays underlining the Watchtower or handling microphones.

Why Don't They Have Windows???
by Sweetp0985 in.
this may be a question that has been answered millions of times but i've seen it in alot of posts lately.. why don't the kh have windows?
what is their bible-based answer for this one?

The KH where I grew up in Florida had windows. And I know that the one here has windows. There's a 'for sale' sign in the lawn, if anyone is interested.
