There were some good things about the organisation...
by Do I Stand Alone? ini have read a number of experiences in this discussion forum and quite frankly, i would have to agree that many, if not all, were pretty terrible experiences if not all together traumatic.
i know that my personal 9-11 tragedy resulted in finding out that the watchtower society was involved with the united nations.
that pretty much said it all as far as my "career" in the organisation was concerned.

Single women come home and they look in the fridge and then they go to bed. Married women come home and they look in the bed & soon head for the fridge. *LOL*
Suggest to her that the two of you go out for a walk in the evenings. Spend some time exercising together & holding hands & talking. It helps. -

We bought the 'suite' before it was a suite ... Go Live, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Live Motion, and PageMaker. We upgraded to Photoshop 7 and then to Photoshop CS a year or so ago, but we have not updated the other programs. I couldn't give a rat's ass about Go Live (I'm a DreamWeaver fan) or In Design (I just don't need it), but we'll need the CS2 Premium so that we can update our Acrobat and Illustrator software in addition to Photoshop.

"PhotoShop CS2"
Richie, how do you like that? I went to Adobe's road show a few weeks ago & I want the entire CS2 bundle with Illustrator & Photoshop & Acrobat & stuff ... we're limping along on Photoshop CS 1 and Illustrator 9 and other previous versions of the bundle. -

I kinda miss having a manual transmission. Row your own, Dude.
What I don't wanna go without anymore is electric windows. I love pushing a button to lower a window on the other side of the vehicle. It beats the hell outta trying to reach across the seats to crank it down by hand, especially while a full size vehicle is in motion.
And the Internet is another. Gotta have it.
Ditto for ESPN & HBO & The History Channel.
And cigarettes.
And books and magazines that don't have questions at the bottom of each page, tying back to scriptural discussions! Keep the Tom Robbins and Stephen King and Jeffrey Gitomer & Playboy & Hot Rod stuff in print. -

My old man used to call us "li'l heathens".
My kids have been referred to as ankle biters, crumb snatchers, curtain climbers, rugrats, rodents, weasel farts, and porch monkeys. -

But then they dug back & discovered that they had already predicted 1914 as the year for Satan to be OUSTED from the earth, so they let the hubbub die down.
New light, and all that. -
