When i was a kid there was a rumour going around that a kids stuffed smurf got up and walked out of the meeting. Scared the crap out of me then, now I just think it's hilarious.
seems to me that in the jw religion, virginity is considered to be an essential requirement for the born-into-its, right up until the time that they get married.
seems to me also, that the jw religion, while condemning fornication generally, sets greater store on females remaining intacto, as opposed to males, what with references to "old towels that any man can wipe his hands on" and the like.

Now i think that waiting untill you are married is not so good. Being raised a witness i think that part of the reason that I , and my husband, got married so fast was so we could have sex.
I would definately not have sex with someone that i did not love, If you are in a commited relationship i can't see why not do it.

I know how you feel, my grand mother died 18months ago. We were very close, I used to take her out shopping every week and then she would take me to the pub for lunch.

no.....i'm not gittin all mushy and stuff.......but i want to know why.. during a visit with my sis, we discussed how some have trouble expressing affection with love to the ones closest to them such as spouses, parents, or children.
about a week or so later, i talk to a friend i used to work with and he's telling me of how he and his wife are like strangers.
i asked him if he made her feel loved.
Love is a huge thing. I know i find it hard to say it, apart from to my kids.
I think it's because we don't want to feel rejected, or to make the person that were saying it to to feel that they have to say it back.
He said " you would have to know my parents....their not like that". This guy is 54.
This guy needs to stop blamimg his parents for him actions. My fathers parents were very reseved emotionaly. We refer to them as "emotionally constipated". He never wanted to be like that with us and forced himself to show emotions. He is still not an emotional person but at least he tried and we recognised that. He still tells me he loves me all the time and i am now 30.
I think it just comes down to fear.
We all just need to learn that we all have one life to live.
On our death bed is too late to tell those close to us how we feel.

to all you animal lovers out there.. i awoke this morning to find that my dog had passed away during the night.. he was a golden retriever cross and the baby of the family.
he loved the kids and would lie down so my 2 year old could sit and lie on him.. he dug out of the back yard and got into my gardening stuff.
he ate half a box of snail bait.. i'm feeling really guilty, sould not have left it out.
