You Blood Sucking Leeches !!!!!!
by Poztate ini hope you didn't take that personally,.
i was watching cnn and they had a segment about how useful leeches were in the treatment of patients who had unclean wounds.
if you applied leeches to the wound they would eat all the pus, blood, clots etc and aid in the healing process.. i seem to recall that a good jw could not use this kind of treatment because it would be wrong to allow a leach to feed on your blood.

Gender Wars!!!!!
by Lehaa insome of you have probably seen this, though it was funny so i shared.. you may not know that many non-living things have a gender.
1) freezer bags-they are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.
2) copiers-they are female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again.

Some of you have probably seen this, though it was funny so I shared.
You may not know that many non-living things have a gender. For example...
1) Freezer Bags-They are Male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.
2) Copiers-They are Female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again. It's an effective reproductive device if the right
buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.
3) Tires-Male, because it goes bald and it's often over-inflated.
4) Hot Air Balloon-Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to
light a fire under it, and of course, there's the hot air part.
5) Sponges-female because they're soft, squeezable and retain water.
6) Web Page-Female, because it's always getting hit on.
7) Subway-Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.
8) Hourglass-Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.
9) Hammer-Male, because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.
10) Remote Control-Female...... Ha! You thought it'd be male. But consider this-it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying. -

Photos of Stunning Peacock which has been driving me up the wall for days!!
by Celtic inthis ruddy bird has been driving me up the wall for ruddy days with it's ruddy call, at first i thought it liked me, thought it might want to mate with me or something.
every time i got close to it, it would put out it's feathers in this enormous and beautiful display.
today however, would the ruddy bird do it for me, ruddy thing is as cantankerous as valis.

Lovely photos, but i know what you mean about the noise. They make a ruddy racket.

RE: Post - WT relationships
by TallTexan inhave any of you found that it's more difficult to have normal relationships after you've left?
i seem to know a lot of ex-jw's (myself included) who tend to fall into these co-dependent relationships.
it's almost like we're trying to replace the control and turmoil of the wt w/ a bad relationship....lol.

Definately. Had a disastrous one when I decided to leave. Was like I was trying to replace the organsation with him. He ran, and I don't blame him.
We've since caught up, sorted stuff out and are great friends again.
I've decided to swear off all romantic relationships for at least 12 months.

is it wrong to have doubt?
No not at all. I think it's wrong to ignore your doubts. You need to sort things out for yourself. You need to do what you think is right for yourself.
I know this site will help but don't be too swayed by what others think, you need to make decisions for yourself on certain topics.
I agree what Cassie says though you need to be cafreul about how much personal information you post here as there are spys.
I think that this is a great thread and that teenagers need to get togehter and talk freely about what they believe and their doubts.
Welcome and I hope you find something to help you here.
