  i got a call from the er last night---hubby had been in an accident and they were running tests and x-rays.

  he was in terrible pain.

  they called back during the night during the night saying he has a shattered sternum and other injuries.

  no, the same woman did a piece on paedophillia in the organisation, she would like some more stories on that, and anything else about how the organisation treats it members unfaily and covers up scandals.

  Hi all, I have great news. I've been contacted by the channel 9 Sunday program. They are interested in talking to as many people as possible about our experiences with the JW religion. We are trying to organise a get together on the 16th of april just to talk about things and then she'll do propper interviews at a later date. We are meeting at a park in Melbourne, Australia.   i was just wonder ing whose going to the memorial this year.. i got this email from my uncle today and i've decided i'm going only so my kids can see their family.

  if you love jehovah miss your extended family want your children to have everlasting life its not hypocritical.

  I got this email from My Uncle today and I've decided I'm going only so my kids can see their family

  If you love Jehovah miss your extended family want your children to have everlasting life Its not hypocritical. Love you lots Was just wondering who else is going and for what reasons.

  do you ever get used to bumping into witnesses that you know.. i still go out in with the thought of it tin the back of my mind.

  i hate the death stares i get.

  i feel like walking uo to them and saying "i'm not the devil or a murderer, just no longer a witness".

  don't know if this has been asked before (and sorry if it has).

  this is for all the "born-into" former witnesses:.

  if you hadn't been born into the religion, do you think you would have become a witness sometime in your life?

  It's hard to say.

  Now I say definately no, but that's knowing what I do.

  If I did not know what I do know now, probably not. But then my life would have been totally different, so who knows.

  an amazing incident tonight

  i have just learnt form an ex jw friend of mine that one of our aquaintances who hasnt been to meetings for about 2 years has been announced as voluntarily dissassociating himself.

  this is totally untrue an elder on his own went round to enquire about a moral issue with him and no more was heard no judicial or anything.

  our aquaintance has rang the elder tonight after finding out about the announcement without ever being told it was going to happen.
