does anyone know how to microwave eggs?.
i tried looking it up on the internet but without luck.
i've been told you can pierce a hole in the shell so they don't explode, but even so, i wouldn't know how long to cook them for.
Instructions on how to cook an egg in the microwave:
Pierce hole in top and bottom of egg, make sure you pierce to membrane.
Place egg in a microwave proof dish.
Cook on high for 3 minutes.
Stand and watch egg turn on turntable.
Wait for it to explode.
Open mocrowave door, clean up mess.
Get saucepan out of cupboard...............
I've never been able to do it, i find it just a easy to do it in a saucepan, I just boil the water in the jug/kettle first to make it faster.

what is the difference between the Watch Tower and the Awake magazines? If I were to get my hand on the CD I hear people refer to, does that contain all of the JW publications where I could research things from home?
The watchtower deals mostly with biblical stuff and prophecies, it also contains study articles that are studied at JW meetings. The awake deals with more current events and human interest stories.
As far as the CD goes, you would need to be reall friendly with some one who still goes to the meetings to get you one, and witnesses are told not to give them to non witnesses. They contain all witness material publishes after a certain date. The CD is usually updated every few years to accomodate mew publucations.

i was raised a j.w.
for 20+ years and slid out of the back door in 1998(no-one noticed me slide) and when i went out into the big bad world i found i was completely naive and clueless as i had lived in a tiny shell all my life, for example i had never met a gay person and i believed every non member was evil and out to get me.. has anyone any similar experiences?how did you get the past out of your mind and move on?

just saw a great news report on how to protect you kids from predators.. it all revolves around a code word.. you and your kids agree on one.
if someone different is to pick your kids up you give then the code word.
if they don't know the word then the kids know that you did not send them.
I've made up little laminated cards for my kids that I put in their pocket, or pin inside their clothes, if we go somewhere really busy like the big markets in the city or the zoo. It has their name, my name and my mobile phone number on it.
i caught my boyfriend of 8 years cheating on me about a month ago.
he claims it is the only time he has ever cheated and he never thought he would ever cheat nor would he ever do it again.
some of my friends are upset at me saying i should have left him immeditately.
The decisions are totally up to you, not your friends. You need to really think as to wether you can trust him again. Also I would be looking at the underlying reasons as to why he cheated, and was it a once off thing or a continuing affair.
I know he was caught but was he going to tell you, he may have been trying to tell you but was scared of your reaction.

I remember one called, i think "butterflies are free" or something. the woman was going through "change" had teenagers, i think the hubby was a dentist-but i could be off. I'd just like to see reruns or any of it again
I remamber that show, the theme song was "love is like a butterfly" if that helps.

Eastenders, the brittas, red dwarf (my mum just bought one of the series on DVD), the bill, Dr. Who, the two ronnies, love them all. Spent a lot of my childhood watching the ABC.
My favouries was The Goodies though.
