  i have been lurking for quite a few months.

  i have been trying to get up enough nerve to tell you my whole story but am finding it painful and scary to write about.

  so here's the shorter version until i get brave enough to spill all the details.

  Very sad to hear your story, my thought are with you as you try and deal with your loss. Unfortunately the organisation makes it very hard for us to remain close to family members.

  For those of you who are "sure" Michael Jackson is innocent. Would you.....

  Personally I have no idea whether he is innocent or guilty.

  My 7 year old son has no idea what is going on in the media so i find his reaction to Michael Jackson interesting. We have a few of his music DVD's and watch them from time to time. My son likes to watch them, but I can see he is uneasy about some of the things that MJ does in them, eg. the whole crotch grabbing thing. He can tell that there is something about him that is just not right, and has no desire whatsoever to meet the guy.

  So if my 7 year old son can see that this guy is weird then I would go with my son's gut feeling and say no, I would not even want my son in the same room as the guy.

  I'll definatley let them know all about the shunning problem. My own experience is terrible. How my JW family supports my abusive ex husband and ingnores my requests for help to deal with the abuse. The whole thing sucks, considering I had to take out a restraining order and move out of my house to get him to leave me alone. He's even had criminal charges brought againts him because of it all and the organisation continues to support him, even saying he had an excuse and called it righteous anger.

  How double standard is that.

  i got a call from the er last night---hubby had been in an accident and they were running tests and x-rays.

  he was in terrible pain.

  they called back during the night during the night saying he has a shattered sternum and other injuries.

  no, the same woman did a piece on paedophillia in the organisation, she would like some more stories on that, and anything else about how the organisation treats it members unfaily and covers up scandals.

  Hi all, I have great news. I've been contacted by the channel 9 Sunday program. They are interested in talking to as many people as possible about our experiences with the JW religion. We are trying to organise a get together on the 16th of april just to talk about things and then she'll do propper interviews at a later date. We are meeting at a park in Melbourne, Australia.
