Psychdigg, how naieve of you to make the comment that children need to be educated about child molesters. Yes that is true and when,in my daughter's case when she was 12 and the schools were implementing that kind of information she did have the courgage to come forward and tell what was happening to her at the hands of her grandfather. Unfortunately he had molested her long before anyone would ever have thought to "educate" her. For, you see he would molest her when she was a little baby while my mother in law baby sat and left him with her. You see, Psychdigg, I never thought in a million years to ever have wondered if my baby was safe at the grandparents house while I was shopping or going to a movie with my husband, or in the hospital having another baby. Parents don't think about such things when they leave their beloved children in their care. Who would have educated my baby daughter from her sadistic grandfather. And guess what Psychdigg, Pedophiles don't leave any signs to see on your baby. Only emotional signs like feeding problems or potty training problems, or academic problems, things a mother would never attribute to grandpa. No you better get your thoughts straight Psychdigg, and stop blaming parents.

WOW!!! I am totally blown away reading all the awsome thoughts that you all have posted on this board. I just don't think I ever imagined how this would touch you all the way it has. I just am so very grateful to have this kind of encouragement from so many awsome people on this board. It just means so very much to me reading all the kind words, and feelings. My husband registered as a Newbie and wants to post here on the board. He has been so touched as well. He spent almost a half hour on the phone this evening with a reporter from the Star Ledger who was about to call JR Brown afterwards. My husband told the reporter JR is a blatant liar, then he said You can quote me on that. I hope they do!

Well, I have had my morning coffee and I have enjoyed the morning on this board, but my friends, I actually do have a life outside of Watchtower, JW's and eJW's and this cool board. I am invited to a BBQ with my "new friends" who don't judge me against their own pathetic spirituality. This is something I have delightfully discovered since being away from the Borg. I just want to share one last thing before I enjoy this beautiful weather. After I began not associating at the KH, I started taking up interests I had put off for so many years that gave me no time in the WT. I started taking English Equestrian lessons 5 years ago. I have since progressed, can you believe, to riding and jumping and showing in Equestrian events. My hubby bought me my first horse, a quarter horse Palomino I named Moonlight, and we also bought a thorougbred baby 2 years ago, who is my daughter's horse. I am also leasing a beautiful warmblood Hanoverian dressage,jumper, and I tell you I have had so much joy come my way over the years after walking away. There is so many wonderful things to do and enjoy and now when I go out to the stable and see the many horses and thier babies, and look into their beautiful eyes, it's as if looking into you own soul. I will be with my new friends whom God has led me to meet, and share happy times and have upbuilding conversations other that who did what at the meeting blah blah blah.... Anyway, all have a wonderful day today.

Schibolet, you have been misled by the ones you believe are the "glorious ones" and it is they who teach false doctrines of men, and twist the Scriptures to elevate themselves over their "sheep". I have previously directed much energy in the child abuse issue because of my personal experience. First, you have no clue to my struggle, for if you did you would not be "peaching" your clonelike Watchtower rhetoric to me, Second, I am don't measure my personal relationship to my Creator and my spirituality, and my closeness with my Creator to twisted lies of the Watchtower Society. You, my friend worship a False God that has taken the Name of God and used it for it's own selfish means with no thought to it's members. I don't believe for a moment that your idea of "Jehovah's Sanctuary" lies with a multimillion dollor, lawyer directed, land owning, political partner of like religions before the Supreme Court, with billions of dollars worth of Real Estate and financial holdings etc., etc.,...... After being in the Watchtower for so many years now have learned not to accept "twisted words" without first doing my own homework. That is called critical thinking, something Watchtower forbids you to do. So don't repeat their opinions base on twisted words. Use the brain and the heart God gave you and be like the boreans and see if these things are really so. I have, and boy was I suprised, and angry at myself for having the gullibility to believe it all those years. First start with researching the "glorious ones" based on what the WT teaches and then compare to you own research beyond their publicatons and their translation of the Bible. Once you do that you will find a piece of your "sanctuary" is crumbling. That is where the "Truth will set you free"
By the way, I believe I know you, or maybe you just sound like all the other death wishing "friends" I used to have. -

Hi Barbara, I am so glad the Judicial Meeting is over for you, and I think they may not dF you with your husband being an elder. I believe in our case we were too directly invoved with elders who lied in the Court Room and the years previously leading up to the trial. Being on the East Coast and close to Watchtower Headquarters, our family members who are elders trying to discredit us even though they hid the pedophilia and tried to protect the pedophile, had much to do with the Service and Legal Dept. involved in our case. My prayers are with you.

When the energy from anger is used in a direction to bring change for the good, that adrenalin is the positive work directing the one feeling the anger. Sure Bill Bowen must have an incredible amount of anger that has accumulated from over his many years in this punishing, shaming, guiltheaping, fear tactic, Publishing Corporation that is run by old tired narrowminded men who haven't a clue of what it is like to live outside the curtain of the Bethel walls. Kind of like Dorothy's little dog pulling away the curtain in the Wizard of Oz. It is an awakening to the reality of who is behind the all and powerful Oz-like geasers enforcing unattainable rules for everyone to live by. Thank God for people in history who brought about change from oppression because their anger from "righteous indignation" was the energy that kept them going. And I will through back into your face, Pychipigg, the same thing the haughty, pharasitical elders said to us. "He's just an imperfect man" and how do you not know that in all Bill's imperfection, that Jehovah is not channeling his anger through Bill Bowen. Even ancient Babylon was used to punish the wicked perverted Israelites in the days of the bible. I know first hand the dirty tactics the Watchtower Society used when dealing with our case against the pedophile pervert who molested our daughter and many other daughters in the circuit he served as a ministerial servent giving public talks. And don't think for a second Watchtower isn't going to start taking legal heat from those who were molested or who's children were molested because the pedophile used his "ministerial" position to gain their trust in luring them to his home. I hope Dateline gives the public a real picture that they see the real truth behind the ones coming to the door trying to recruit for the Watchtower Publishing God.[>:(]

Each and everyone of you have said things that make me realize how decietful the Watchtower Society is. The label of "Apostate" is a cruel one to put on the ones who left their ranks. They've made that word put fear in the hearts of the members. They've removed the human element of those who leave and "demonize" them with a word that reduces them to something the Watchtower wants to create as evil and desearving of death. I used to believe that if I was given "apostate literature" Jehovah would see me if I read it, and my test would be whether I discarded it or read it. I always discarded it, thinking that if a person was faithful in least they would be faithful in much. Thought control is evil and very powerful in keeping members in line. The Armegeddon scare is a powerful adherent to most JW's. Thank you all for showing me that "apostates" are people. Everyday people with everyday problems. I would rather take my chances with my own conscience and enjoy the many new friendships I have met along the way than to be threatened into submission never really enjoying my life and family the way our Creator meant it to be. Thank you all. And I am glad you have gotten to meet my son, Justin, and yes he is a piece of work and I am very proud of him, and also his wonderful wife, my daughter in law. They, as newlyweds should not have to bear this kind of cloud over their heads because the "church community" they grew up in chooses to abandon them because of taking their stand over these issues. They lived the nightmare in the Courtroom, and first hand watched elders lie on the witness stand. Rather than these elders being a "hiding place fro the storm" the elders became a part of the storm. I know it's been hard for them and especially my daughter in law who has pressure from within her JW family, and she is a spiritual person with spiritual needs. I so understand that. And I know God will put the right ones in her path that truly bring God in her life without the fear, and shame, and guilt that the Watchtower heaps on the shoulders of their members. I am proud of her and I love her very much. I know it is only a matter of time before the Watchtower comes after them, and it angers me. They were also filmed on Dateline with us and I believe that they will be included in the show. Well the Watchtower has sure given publicity to this soon coming show by trying to silence us.

You mean anyone who didn't have 2 witnesses to his perverted act is not a "known" sex offender and if the you teen or child accuses him of raping her and he denies it she is told to keep her mouth shut and not slander his good name or the name of the congregation. And if he is a "known" molester than only the victim and the elders can be privy to it and the victim is told "you must not talk about this to anyone in the congregation so that you don't upset the spirit of the congregation" or "don't tell anyone, and if you have nightmares just sleep with your Bible under your pillow and the elders will act as your therapists" My question is why should we care if Brother Pedophile can't have "Position". Assss ifffff that is the most important issue. He can still keep his secret and look at all the little children in the Kingdom Hall.

The second elder was once a close friend. Do they think we are so unclean and defiled? I thought that description better fits a Pedophile. I haven't posted much since Monday the day of our Judicial Committee Meeting. At least we didn't get a visit from all 8 of them. After told of the decision he got right off the phone. It was weard. A whole life time of giving of ourselves to a belief system that no longer served as a refreshment to our soul suddenly ends in a 20 second phone call. A few minutes later the AP called to find out if we were disfellowshipped, and I told him we just got the phone call. So he interviewed me for about 15 minutes and after that we went out to work in our garden. I am blessed to have been able to see these last few years just how mean spirited and unkind the Watchtower Society is. It has not decency in it and those who follow and go along with it once they see it is so ungodly are to be pitied. The elder who called was the one elder on that body of elders that I felt knows deep down what is going on but goes along because his whole social structure depends on being loyal to the Watchtower. I thought it would be hard to leave but since I walked away in 1998, I have had such wonderful experiences and freindships and it's as if my husband and I are living another life. We have had struggles over the many issues that have come up after leaving the Borg, but our lives have become so much richer. Thank you all for the incredible support on this board and also on WA if any of you are on this board. Also since the articles hit there have been sooooooooo many wonderful people calling to give thier support and kind words and to share their horror stories. All good people. And every one here on this board are so awesome. You are like one big therapy session sometimes even if I don't always post, I read this board every day to catch up on all of you and so I almost feel as if I know you. Our family has gotten out of this crazy cult intact, and I am grateful that my children are critical thinkers and can understand what has gone on. Watchtower has stolen many parents and children from one another, and the disfellowshipping will not cause this to happen to us. Sunday I will celebrate Mothers day happily and gratefully and tonight I will whisper a little prayer under my breath. Speaking of prayer, I got a phone call from someone from another state, Kentucky, in fact, and after hearing his story and after we each kind of comforted each other with kind words, he told me that because we are such good people that God would always bless us by putting good and special people in our path. He has truly been doing that these last few years. After that he asked me if he could say a prayer with me over the phone, and I said surely, and when he prayed I was touched and knew God has not left me or my family or view us as dead the way they teach in their perverted Christian doctrine, and I realized it is they who are the ones who became apostate.
