M-N, So you've just been appointed "chief microphone attendant", how exciting to have a little position to define your self worth in your congregation pecking order. You must feel so "approved" of by the body of "glorious ones". Now you can feel important when you raise your hand go answer planned answers in the paragraphs of their false teachings. You know, like the study article in the Watchtower on "glorious ones". Oh, how exciting go be a drooled over blonde cury locked mic-man on his way to the next position. Must make you feel so tall and erect standing their with your microphone in hand with the sisters drooling over you as you dream about someday becoming a "glorious one" yourself. You are so typical of the JW male salivating over such Watchtower instilled self worth as a man. Your haughtiness and arrogance shines through as you come here to taunt and berate with nothing of importance to say, but you really are an amusing troll and well worth feeding. It is JW's like you that confirm our convictions of just how un-Christlike you really are. Thankyou M-F. Oh I mean M-N.

the first hint a someone defending and apparently being a jw and the 3 camps come out of the woodwork with their charm and tact to help a the poor jw realize the truth for what it is.

Mohie-Nigg, Wecome. Why does the Watchtower teach that the "glorious ones" in the book of Jude are elders, when, clearly glorious ones is refering to angels? By changing the true meaning of who the glorious ones are is going against Revelation's warning about adding of taking away from the written word. By teaching that elders are "glorious ones" they are teaching false doctrines and speaking abusively angels.

Shakita, I do remember the voices of King Friday and his friends every morning. That seems like it was another life.

Question about JW and Brooklyn
by Eppie inhai all,.
i have a question: when i read on this site i notice that many people are upset by the organisation of jw and not necessarily their beliefs (also, but less upset maybe?).
i have a question though: we talk about jws being indoctrinated and brainwashed etc., but where does it originate?

Hi Eppie, though being a devout Witness for many years, I think that the devoutness, and zealousness was attributed to "group-think" peer pressure, and not go the feelings deep in my heart. When I stopped attending meetings it was becuase of the corruption and behavior of elders being directed by headquarters. When speaking out about it and being labeled "apostate" I really researched some of their doctrines and found that many were unscriptural and false. It is no longer a matter of being mad at the org, rather taking the time to stand back and see for myself how much I no longer agree with their teachings. Burdons have been lifted, and my faith has taken new direction.

Celebration seems so morbid. Can you imagine how the apostles would feel if they saw each other celebrating Christ's death? If Mary M and some of the other women went to the market to buy fancy dresses and jewelry and cooked a big dinner and invited all the friends over to eat and drink in celebration of Jesus death? Or going to the local inn to eat and have some wine after leaving Jesus hanging up there? That is actually what Witnesses do on he memorial night, they go out and celebrate afterwards. I guess they are so desparate to say they celebrate something when "worldly" people ask them, the can say "oh yes we celebrate the memorial of Christ's death" This is so annoying! I like celebrating that he was born and was resurrected to life. It seems more natural to do that. Watchtower would rather have backward inside out type of worship. Kind of like the deemonz. EEWW how antichrist they are
