These articles show that they have no love in them. Even the wording is just so mean spirited in it's delivery. So full of bigotry and and religious hatred towards those who are different. So spiritually abusive for the children sitting in the KH to have to absorb. They should be ashamed of themselves. Truly, they honor Him with their lips but their hearts....... So sad, I feel so sorry for the young people coming into that environment after learning in school how the rest of the world is moving towards tolerance. No wonder they are leaving in great numbers and hurting so much. They come from a religion of hate, fear and paranoia.

by ARoarer inon studying the bible in the past and learning watchtower's definitions of false doctrine, i have been able to reason now when i compare these teachings to be anti christian.
i read another post that listed all of their articles that make the "trinity" of jehovah, his word and the organiztion.
after viewing the articles listed it made me feel how against christ they really are, even though they give lip service to him.

Thanks for info Will Power. Wow, not only are they anti christ but they are blasphemers too. You know, so much of this was going through my mind when I was realizing how much I was disareeing with their teachings in my heart. I was feeling that I could not conscientiously continue to proclaim what I was expected to teach. I remember feeling like this when I was pioneering and a bible study asked me to explain why elders were chosen and directed by holy spirit. I didn't believe it myself so how could I be expected to teach it to others. There were so many other things that I was researching and finding out to be lies in thier changing doctrines. It was so heavy on my heart that I was becoming ill from it and I knew for my own spiritual and mental health and that of my family, we had to get out.

gumby, I think you're missing my point. Their teachings are opposite what Christ taught, so by thier own definition they condemn themselves as an Anti-Christ. In the beginning of this discussion I asked for comments of how one feels the Watchtower is the anti,,,,, . I think in many ways some of the comments mentioned show that WT is unlike all Christian religions in that it denies to all of it's members the provision of the bread and wine, as well as placing an earthly organization as God's judge and mediator, and executor of judgement against it's members. Unlike mainstream Christendom they preach acts of intolerance and not acts of tolerance. They have also misapplied the scripture in Jude 8, and 2 Peter 2:10 in that they elevate humans as ecclesiastical authorities over angels as glorious ones, in thier definition of "Apostates" in the "Reasoning from the Scriptures" book. It is worse in their eyes to reject the GB than it is to reject Christ. Sounds pretty anti christ to me

gumby, I disagree that Anti-Christ is a little strong in describing WT. Thier teachings are oposite of what Christ taught. Even thier book about him is inaccurate. They are just as much Anti-Christ as those they accuse of being Anti-Christ.

They sure do speak a lanquage of hatred. It is really very sad. Today I have been reading this discussion board after being away a few weeks celebrating the holidays with my family. It is th Watchtower Organization who fits the descriptions it gives to those who left. The Watchtower has become the "kidnappers" and "malicious liers". Their words are so telling of the message they preach. Thier language sounds like that of a paranoid maniacal fanatical cult leader trying to instill fear in his followers. So glad my family and thier spouses have left.

Yeah, Watchtower is very much like Satan. In many ways. Once I was thinking about the conversation between Satan and Eve in the Bible account in Genesis. Satan told Eve if she disobeyed God she would "positively not die". Watchtower promises this to millions of gullible "Eve-like" ones. In doing so they are encouraged to take on a "fleshly" view of life, where Jesus focused on a spiritual view.
