Thanks Terry! Another interesting thing to note is that the ones lited are 4.0 and above. I bet if one were to check ALL magnitudes, there would be far, far more than are listed here.
Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately, by the time the next election rolls around, there will have been enough time to forge a fraudulent document that will look so real and pass the "Sniff test" well enough that people will not be able to tell the difference from a real one, thereby "proving" that it is "Real". It is sad that people will buy it hook, line and sinker.

Glentrevette, If you are having those feelings, PLEASE seek help immediately! Either call 911 or look on the net for numbers to national suicide hotlines. They will guide you and help you with the encouragement you need. Please do not let others comments cause you to do something bad to yourself. I have been in the same situation, and I let others comments cause me to do harm to myself. PLEASE do NOT let this happen to you!!! I care, and i feel bad for what you are going through.
You said you need something to believe in. Believe in YOURSELF! I know it can be difficult, but it can be done, especially if you have someone who you can talk to when you are feeling down, or feeling like hurting yourself.
Again, please call for help. PLEASE do it!
I am sending positive thoughts your way, and hope you do the right thing.
There are some empathetic, caring people here-(it may be hard to believe) but there really are those who are willing and desire to give you encouragement as many of us have been in the same or similar situations as you are.
As long as you don't give up, you will find what you are looking for.
I wish you the best, and if you want to PM me, feel free.
Here is the number to the National Suicide Hotline in the USA:
1-800-273-8255 It is completely free and anonymous.
Take care of yourself!!!

I am very sorry for your ordeal, and am also sorry that so many people here have shown their true colors when it comes to showing empathy and compassion-(or the lack of) when someone such as yourself is feeling hurt and vulnerable. I would be willing to bet that there are others on the board who wish that they could open up and try to find encouragement, but won't because they are afraid of exactly the same thing that happened here with your thread.
I am sorry that you are hurting, and I hope that things are looking up for you. Due to the actions of some people here, it may be hard to believe that there are those who really do care and empathise with you, but please be assured that there are some decent people who do care about your feelings.
Please take care of yourself.

In my previous post I forgot to offer my condolences to the families of the American Missionaries delivering Bibles who were recently killed by the Somali Muslim Pirates.

Below is a really good site which has some good articles dealing with everyday life in the Muslim world . It provides a "Heads up" to what we will soon be facing in the USA.

Is Deporting Illegal Immigrants The Answer To American's Economic Woe? What Do You Think?
by Scott77 in"... deporting the millions of illegal aliens in the united states will cost trillions and will make this country bankrupt; the beginning of slippery slope that eventually will destroy our country the working immigrants is part of the backbone of our country and they have always been and will always be.. i guess, you are blind to the myriad of studies concluding that immigrants benefits our culture and economy.
a study was released by the center for american progress (cap) that establishes that the enforcement-only approach these restrictionist groups ad-nauseam advocate isnt sustainable in the long-term.
the study estimates that a strategy aimed at deporting the nations population of illegal immigrants would cost the government approximately $285 billion over five years.

Hello Scott77! You were excited about discussing this, what happened? It is an interesting topic, and your input too would be appreciated. You are right, this is a very important thing that needs to be discussed, our future as a Nation depends on it.

It would be FAR cheaper to deport the illegal criminal law breakers than it would be to allow them to continue stealing and sucking us dry of our resources that we LEGAL citizens have paid for through our blood, sweat, tears and taxes.
It would not cost Trillions to deport them. It would basically cost what many illegals demand and steal in one year in regards to Government Benefits, health care, and incarceration charges for the other hideous crimes a large percentage commit once they sneak in here. Most are not willing to assimilate into our culture. Rather they demand that we change to fit theirs. I challenge anyone to find just ONE country on this planet that would allow an American to abuse their countries system as much as we allow others to do to us. Just One.
It is time that all of us Legal Americans of all races and colors put aside our differences, and unite to peacefully demand that lawbreakers and the anchors they drop NOT be rewarded for breaking the law. This applies to the lawbreakers of any country who come here unauthorized.
Take a look at Mexico's immigration laws. Our laws should be the same. If we did that, there would not be the travesty we see today.
Just imagine all those hundreds of thousands that pay a "Coyote" anywhere from $3,000-6,000 PER PERSON to sneak them into the USA to instead spend that money fixing up their own country and provide for their families. If they can fork out thousands of $$$ per person to sneak in here, they have the power and the money to make things better for themselves and their families in their own countries. The thing is it takes WORK. Unfortunately too many have the attitude of "Why work when I can get it for free"?
Our Government needs to stop coddling and pandering to those who disregard our laws plain and simple.

Help: Re: Letter to elders NOT to disfellowship otherwise legal action will be taken
by LouBelle inhello there everyone.
i remember reading a while back about someone on here ( i think) that wrote a letter to the body of elders & headoffice that they should not take any action to disfellowship them as they would be distancing them from friends and relatives and would proceed to take legal action if the body of elders went ahead.. if anyone has that link or can point me in the right direction i'd appreciate that..

Band on the run, I enjoyed your posts on this thread and found them to be very informative! I am sure there are many here too-I am one of them, who does not always think or even realize that there are profiles of individuals on this site. I too did not understand when I read that comment about you, as you were only trying to help. I am sure that most here found your posts helpful, and your insider knowledge of the law can help others who are looking for a way out of the Watchtower.
Good luck to the OP's Aunt in her situation!
