  Have You Prepared For The "Flu" And Do You Get A Flu Shot?

  i try to keep my hands clean regularly and stay away from areas and people that i know are sick.. i have never gotten a flu shot and i do know that many that do get one, get the flu anyway.. still, the flu is considered very very bad this year..

  One of the benefits of having Agoraphobia is that I rarely get sick from catching other people's germs.

  When I used to be "Normal", I would constantly have colds, bronchitis, and other health problems. I even had pneumonia twice which took more than 8 weeks each time to feel better. Now that I rarely leave the house, it's been a few years since I've even caught a cold. If by chance my Partner or I have to go somewhere, we carry along a container of hand sanitizer in our van, and we always wash up as soon as we get home.

  I feel bad for anyone who gets this nasty strain of flu that is going around.

  it is claimed that on jan. 10 the journal of cosmology published a paper by 4 scientists stating that hard evidence of fossilized single cell life was found in a sri lanka meterorite.. .

  i've got some reading to do.. i just stumbled on to this and it appears to be real..... metatron.

  i have had to make some very difficult decisions in recent days.

  in one way i feel good about takeing care of myself and my mother who is on her dead bed in the room next to me.

  mom has live with me since 2005 and started to make her journey to the other side on christmas day.

  Thanks, EP!!! The geeky nerd in me loves things like this, and I have often wondered the same thing whenever I play with my lazer pointer. I've also wondered what would happen if a bunch of pointers were taped together and the beams were focused to a fine point, and what effect it would have.

  Quentin (from JW-net) is dying

  quentin robburts has been on jw-net off and on for over 6 years and he is one of my oldest and most loyal friends.. his wife called me awhile ago and gave me the news.. quentin was rushed to the hospital's emergency room with acute renal failure and congestive heart failure.. .

  this does not surprise me for the following reason.

  his pain doctor put him on oxycontin last thursday.

  Your post reminds me of Mark Twain after he saw his own obit in the newspaper. He said "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." I'm very glad that you still have your friend Quentin! I'm sure it was very scary for you and his family, and I am happy that Quentin is feeling better and that you are finding peace. I send positive thoughts and wishes to you and Quentin that he continues to gain strength to keep getting better.

  The Bethelites aren't even mentioined at all, and they are the ones who live in tiny closet sized rooms, slave away for a pittance producing, binding. packaging and shipping all of the litterature, keeping Bethel clean and organized, etc. Sad that they can't even give credit where it's due.

  Visit to Austrailia

  we're trying to rebuild our lives after leaving the org, have new experiences and create new memories for ourselves.

  we're planning out our trip to hawaii, nz, austrailia and tahati in february.

  i thought i'd see if anyone on here could give us some advice on places to see/stay/eat in brisbane and thereabouts, as well as places to steer clear of.
