we're a bit later in 'publishing' this weekend - sorry about that.
my excuse is we were stuck up a mountain on the southern ranges.
a glorious view though, so that was some compensation.
So what did you really think of "worldly people"?
Well it isnt part of the options... but practically all bar one of my friends are wordly and that's how it has always been and how i intend to keep it. Worldly people definitely have ALL the fun,lol

next week-end, there are elections in europe.
countries are starting on thursday and ending on sunday.
since i am not at home on the german election day i have already voted by letter.
Well... obviously you can tell that i am too young to vote but this is an issue that's always struck me as being stupid. My mum has always been against voting because it goes against her religion .. and this really does annoy me. Especially the fact that she is a woman and lots of people have fought hard to give her the right to vote. Seems to me that she's just being ignorant. Lots of people don't vote and then complain about who is elected. It doesn't make sense - if they don't vote then what do they expect.
God... adults

.
the other night sandy and i were having an argument with badger about what women want.. he says money.. .
so what is it ladies?
Well... i have to say that love has obviously gotta be number 1. As the old saying goes...love can't buy you happiness but i believe that love can! Of course the first thing that you notice when u see some1 for the first time is attractiveness and then that builds up to be personality, lifestyle etc. Many people will say that money does not count but u can't deny that it is a bonus... an attractive bonus at that

ireland having just joined the list of countries banning smoking in public places, it has suddenly got media attention here in the uk.. as some of you know, i gave up smoking for a year and a half ago on a thread on this board.
i started again, however, i have always, as smoker and non-smoker, believed that such a ban would mean an infingement on your civil liberties and freedom.. then todays news along with a sad story about a 3 year old who died of obesity:.
obesity has now overtaken smoking as the biggest killer in the uk.. then i wonder, why is this nanny state discussing banning smoking in pubs, when they should be logically banning beer, in light of the new statistics and all the beer belies they show in these news items?
Hmm... well me and my family have had so many arguments about this. Like somebody mentioned before i'm all for no-smoking areas in bars and clubs but to ban it would seriously affect alot of people... one of them being my dad . I can enjoy the occasional cig when drinking but would ot class myself as a smoker and evry1 knows that alot of the time drinking and smoking go together. If there was an option where people could choose whether or not to inhale cigaretted smoke that would be miles better and the best of both worlds. God i don't know how my dad would cope if he wasn't allowed a smoke, he wud hate the idea of having to interupt his boozy afternoon to step outside! The one thing that i do hate when u go out though is the smell left on your clothes when u get home , guess that wud be one advantage but that aside i think it would be wrong....
