by Questions1 init's no secret that the "organization" has increased it's cia, national security clerance only super-secret attitude in regards to the elder school that is going to be conducted soon.
a few days ago, i had a conversation with an elder who has been in the fold all of his life practically.
in keeping with the conversation style of jws, the gentleman told me that nobody knows what exactly will be taught at the meetings, but in his backdoor conversations with some brothers who seem to be tuned into the bethel's officially, unofficial, communications network, the elders are going to be taught "post-armageddon" teachings.

It's my 1st JWD birthday
by free2think init's my first jwd birthday today and i just wanted to say a hug thank you to everyone on this board.. i am so glad i joined here, looking back over the last year i know i've come a long way.
i started out here knowing it wasnt the truth but not sure where to go or what to do.
throughout this year i've learnt so much about myself and feel i am finally being the person i want to be.

Is an Organization required?
by Robert7 inso i had a shepherding call recently, and i laid out my concerns to the elders.
i said how can put full faith and trust into jehovah's organization, one which is directed by holy spirit, even though its past is littered with issues and errors (new light)?
i mentioned the redefining of generation, 1975 issue, and the un involvement.

by JH ini write all kinds of notes on my calendars, like when i should make my next oil change, my next dentist appointment, my cat's birthday, etc...lol.
i'd say that i already wrote something for just about every month of the next year already .

why is it better to "fade"?
by ruined ini've been reading various posts and i notice that fading is often advised by others who have done so or wish they had done so.
why is this better than being df'd?
i'm assuming it's because your family will not shun you if you are merely da'd ?

Have a sense of humour - giggling.
by whyamihere inso i was at the gym today(as always) speaking to the super moms(lol).
they were all talking about nutrition and the value of a sensible diet.
then they asked me what i consume daily, as i was going to give them thee ideal lie of what i "should" eat hence the word "eat" - i said this: my daily food groups include: coffee cigarettes, vodka and the morning after pill.. silence among the mini van driving crowd.. then i laughed and walked away fully knowing i will not be getting an invite to their next tupperware party - oh darn it all to heck.. people need to lighten up and take a joke, i still think it was funny!.
