  wow, what's going on here?

  i look at all the new folk here that seem to have joined in the past 2 months and are posters who are under 100 posts and i gotta wonder why.. has something happened in dubland recently to cause a lot of folk to reach out?

  if you are new here at jwd, how did you find us?

  i just found out that the po of my old cong who presided over my disfellowshipping meeting was just disfellowshipped himself for a long history of horriffic physical and emotional abuse of his wife and family.. while i feel terrible for his family, i can't help but crack a smile when i think of him sitting in a cell (he was incarcerated for his evil deeds) stewing in his own juices.

  when i was a kid in the cong, this guy was the most opiniated, judgemental, hateful asshole i have ever known.

  i feel to some extent that justice has been served.

  after years of waiting, i finally turned 18. i remember distinctly that my mother said during an argument that i would not have to attend meetings once i turned 18. well that was a lie.

  she denied ever having said such, and pulled the "under my roof" card.

  so now she is saying i have to continue attending meetings until i move out.

  Not being baptized is a plus in this case.

  If it were me I would use blondie's wt to the full. Maybe not answering at meetings, but planting seeds to others.

  Ask about the upcoming assembly, ... "is it really so, .. that many there as examples, .. have NO REGRETS about their choices.

  Keep asking questions, ... What is an apostate state of mind?

  Sometimes acting dumb, ... and asking dumb questions, ... is a way these questions are planting seeds.

  i just answered a question "off the top of my head" to a question which brought to my mind something that i heard at a talk at our assembly that has "bothered" me and i am hoping for some clarification as i would never want to be accused of what this topic is about .... .

  it was a talk at our recent assembly that brought out a 'new one' for me ...or perhaps i just haven't heard of it as yet ... .
