Simon that is how war goes, what you think the Iraqs are saints, sometimes I think your thinking is really warped and I can't understand why you have so much anti-americanism in you.

Wasn't Saddam ousted for doing precisely this sort of thing?
by Simon inutterly disgusting.
those responsible should be lined against a wall and shot.
publicly.. i think that would win more hearts and minds than bombing cities and using gunships on civilian areas.. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4855930/.

What was the silliest thing they told you NOT to do?
by goddess_baal inthere was some really piddily-crap that i remember.. for instance, when i was about 17 toe-rings became popular, and one of the sisters bought one....wore it to the kh during the summer with her sandals.
my best friend in the hall wanted one, which of course caused this huge debate about whether it would be okay 'in jehovah's eyes', and didn't it go against the scripture that counsels women against "bodily adornment", blah-blah-blah.
toe rings??!

My sympathy is with you and Miguels family, I know it is hard I feel sorry for those inner city children who have to grow up in tough neighborhoods and have the pressure of being a young Jehovah Witness I went thru all that growing up in the city of Chicago.

Have The British Ever Been First At Anything?
by Englishman in1701 jethro tull, english agriculturist, demonstrated the advantage of thorough soil cultivation, and, with the invention of the first practical mechanized seed drill, initiated the practice of drilling rather than broadcasting seed.. 1704 the first alphabetical encyclopedia was the lexicon technicum/technical lexicon.
compiled by john harris.. 1705 edmond halley, english astronomer.
he not only identified the comet that was later to be known by his name, but also compiled a star catalogue, detected the proper motion of stars, using historical records, and began a line of research that, after his death, resulted in a reasonably accurate calculation of the astronomical unit.

It still gets to me how the society uses the rank and file by not allowing them to search into these books and work on these poor peoples conciense by telling them that they are sinning against the holy spirit half these poor people don't know where to turn because the world is off limits and having to start over is hard.

Good point Ozzie the dangers of getting attacked are out there, these people would do it again if they could that is why I say that things are out of hand right now this will probably go on for years I don't see no end to it soon. Politics is a very dirty business.

Ozzie's Weekend Poll #91
by ozziepost inhow's your weekend been going?
here in oz, today is anzac day, the national commemoration of soldiers, sailors and airmen who have fallen in war.
mrs ozzie and i have been very conscious of the fact that the wts and jws avoid recognizing any debt to the members of the armed forces who have fought in battle to preserve the peaceful conditions that the wts benefits from in its printing operations.

I would say going to the meetings without a briefcase I would go with just my bible and song book and would get looked at as if I was doomed for not lugging a huge briefcase with all the latest offers, never know when you will meet that intrested person on your way to a meeting and make a placement.
