I always wondered about that when I was a kid, what would have happened if god hadn't interfered at the tower of babel. It seems to me now that god went to a lot of trouble for nothing, people would have just gone off and developed different languages immediately again anyway. I mean, in Yorkshire people who live at opposite ends of a valley have different vocabularies. I'm guessing it's just another one of those stories made up by the people who wrote the bible to try and explain why there were different languages.

Not even one of the 9-11 hijackers were Iraqi. Most of the hijackers were Saudi Arabians. And that's a different country. So whatever our motivation for invading Iraq, revenge for 9-11 is just not relevant.

I'm 45, but I don't put my age in because I don't want to be outed to my JW family and my details all put together would definitely ring a bell to anyone who knows me. I'm not usually paranoid but JWs have very little entertainment besides gossiping, so stuff gets around fast. But I never lie about my age, I'm proud of having survived this long. I expected to die in 1975! (although I got a clue when they changed it to 1978)
