why is it okay for a dub to go to a hospital that is affiliated and receives funding from the catholic religion, but it is not okay to give to the red cross, united way or join the ymca?

The society can find a loophole in a rock.

Most of what the society says about hospitals can also be said about the YMCA.

It may be the only facility in your town that offers classes you may need to take, and to my knowledge does not promote religion.

It just bothers me that the dubs who a visiting my friend who is in a Lutherean Hospice are all commenting on how good the services seem to be, but its too bad that it is religion affiliated.

If the dubs are so concerned about supporting a religious cause why don't the build their own hospitals.

God knows they will have enough money from the sale of their property in Brooklyn.

as i mentioned in an earlier post, i went to see the movie united 93 with a group of friends who were with me at the wtc on 9/11.. first, i encourage all of you who feel that you are ready to see this reenactment as a movie, to see it.

because it is on a wide screen and most of the film takes place in the traffic controller's offices and the inside of the plane, you get the feeling of actually being part of the action.. the film tells the story of how the traffic controllers, military, and the passengers of the plane realized that what started out as a few planes missing from radar turned into a delibrate terrorist attack on our government.. filmed in what seemed to be almost real time you see how people went from bewilderment, panic to resolve and of course eventually the actual tradgey.. it is quite heartwenching watching the passengers realize that they were going to die, and how many of them communicated with their loved ones, leaving them with messages of love and resolve.. i hope i haven't given too much away.. it really makes you realize that an unforeseen occurrence can alter your life forever.

In agree with you Mega Dude. This film helps you remember who is important to you.

It's one of those things that you just can't accurately predict what you would do in that situation.

Let's just hope we don't have to make those choices.

i am going to see the movie united 93 this afternoon.. a group of friends and co workers that with me at the wtc on september 11th are all going together.. although the movie focuses on the plane that went down in pa, and not the event at the wtc we are all a little nervous about see an re enactment on a big screen.. but it has been almost 5 years and we all knew that hollywood would make a movie about the event.

i have talked to family members of some of the survivors and they thought it was well done.. i'll give you guys my opinion of the film this weekend.

Apple Imac VS Dell

i am currently shopping for a new computer and i am very interested in investing in an apple imac - intel.. since i have only used and owned dell computers that is compatitable with windows i am worried that i will not have access to all of the programs and systems that i normally use.. has anyone else made this transition, or are there any apple users out there?

what has been you experience with apple?

Do you lose your cool when driving?

yesterday i was trying to find a place to park at the clinic.

and its not easy.

so i see a guy get in his car, so i put on my blinker and wait.

People talking on cell phones as they drive.

some many people have a hard time concentrating on one thing at a time, why complicate driving by not using hands free devices when driving and talking on the phone.

Other than that I almost never experience any road rage, my wife on the other hand is another story....
