Michael Jackson turned up in a limo on one occasion, it was one day I decided not to turn up to the meeting so I didn't get a chance to have a chat!

Ummm... locally, we had an afternoon kid's TV show host (cartoons) who was a JW. He was a character. I always wanted to be on the show as a 'guest'... there were usually 20 or so that sat in bleachers that he would interview.
Another one - was a local TV news anchor. Everyone in the KH thought that he was a 'god'. *rolls eyes*
No hollywood stars, though. *wide grin*

Hank Marvin, from 60's band The Shadows, moved into my teenage congregation with his second wife and teenage children. Twin sons of first marriage came too; well, one of them - the other became very unhappy and now that I think of it probably did a good fade. Daughter a couple of years younger than me whose wealth, beauty, style and accent I always envied. Son the same age as my brother. Both left when they had the chance, good for them.
He's a nice bloke, never talked about his work. They were understandably popular and influential in the area. It was good for everybody to have somebody with education and money in the congregation. I always wanted him to tell Cliff Richard stories, but no joy.
