New Years Resolution-Firm Believer
by RubyTuesday ini decided to start my new years resolution now.that way i will have met my goal come jan.1.i joined a gym sunday and i am in pain.i worked out on weights and i will be taking kick boxing classes and yoga.december i will be ready to hit the slopes at lake tahoe.i need to lose 20 pounds and firm up so that i look great in that strapless new years dress.what is your new years resolution?

that gave me an idea to start a thread for us gearheads (women included) who love hot rods and to brag about the ones they have/had!.

In 1985 I bought a '68 Cougar. It WAS in mint condition. It was black with maroon inteiror . Not a scratch on it inside or out.It purred like a kitten. I bought it from a little old lady that just drove it to church on sundy(totally serious)She sold it to me for just $900.00 dollars because that was how much her eye operation was.I let my boyfriend drive it to work and one day he was showing off for his friends and lost control of it and rolled it 3 times.It was totalled!!!I am still sick about it to this day!

Breaking up is hard to do
by RubyTuesday inwell...my boyfriend of three years and i have broken up.the really difficult part is we have to live together for another 6 months (we signed a lease).this should be interesting.any suggestions on how to get through this?
anyone else have a strange breakup where you had to see the person day after day?

Dakota...Thanks for the good advice. I do need to look long and hard at the situation.I have to stop acting on my emotions.
As for Mr.Right...there is no such person.
As for the bus thing...I think I've been on too many bumpy bus rides in my life.It's time I do my own driving.

Six..good one ...line throughout the house.
It would be easy to get the landlord on my side (he has a pet ..she doesn't know about)but I don't want to play dirty pool.I will always care about him..he has been such a good friend.Dakato..I guess you could say there is a little bitterness between us ( we are not speaking to eachother) I know it would be better to live apart...but financialy it is better this way.On the other hand it might be worth it to spend a little extra money so we can get on with our lives.I'm not looking forward to being alone.I wish you the best on your divorce.
