there are some states like oklahoma that only use one back license plate and other states use two, what do they do where you live?.

2 here in Virginia, but we have like 100 different types of plates to choose from. I have a personalized plate with the SR-71 on it. A portion of my plate renewal fee goes to the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, so I don't mind the 70 bucks a year.

I had a Dodge Grand Caravan, bought new, got rid of it when it hit 190,000 miles...just was tired of driving it after 10 years. I also had a GMC Safari (like a Chevy Astro). I LOVED the Safari, almost bought another one, but was talked out of it (by my hubby who decided I didn't need another "mom-mobile). I now have a 2004 Trailblazer EXT. Seats 7, has decent cargo room, towing capacity, etc. When I was car shopping, I test drove a Chrysler Town & Country. I hated it...after driving the Safari with that big V-6, the Chrysler seemed underpowered.

well, the baby isn't coming until tuesday.
unfortunately, i'm stuck here in va because of stupid airline policies that make the charge for changing a ticket look like the national debt.
i'm going to stick with my original flight, so i'll get to see her when she's something like 9 days old.

just wanted to let everyone know that my granddaughter has decided not to wait for her originally scheduled debut.
her debut has been rescheduled for next monday....a little early, but we're hoping all goes well.
whatever positive thoughts, prayers, etc.
Elsewhere, I WILL be discussing plans and timely arrivals with said new arrival when she is here. Her mother already told her that she HAD to wait until her Nona was there, but NOOOOOOOOO, Kira couldn't wait. I would hope that Miss Kira will learn that timeliness is a virtue somewhere down the road. But, it could be worse, her mother kept me waiting for her arrival for over a week from the originally set date (a fact I have NEVER let her forget).
So...now I gotta find out how much more $$$ that darn plane ticket is gonna cost....

my baby girl was born saturday, joining my six-year-old son in my legacy on this planet!.
she's a doll-baby, much better looking than anything *you've* ever brought about!
Congrats on that new baby girl...but regarding cutness quotient...I BET she isn't as cute as my new granddaughter will be (arriving 10/22)...but I also may be just a bit biased.

i have been working at at my current job as a contract worker since feb this year.
for about five years i have been doing contract/consulting work and i've gotten very very tired of the instability, so i started looking for a perm position.. last year, at almost this same time, i got a perm job where my supervisor was a jw... it didn't take very long for me to be "laid off" after he found out i was an ex-jw.
for a few months my supervisor has been talking about hiring me as a perm employee, but nothing was ever certain.
