    12. Sorry if I missed anything.

      9-23-04

Mary and I attended court this morning. Sara and Mark were there along with a JW friend, the mother of Nancy's best friend, along with her mother.

Outside the courtroom, the attorney went over and had us sign off on his recommendation. After I signed I walked toward the courtroom where Mark was standing. He look right at me, so I smiled and winked at him. He said, "Don't even look at me!"

      LOL. It gets better, wait!

The courtroom was packed and we waited about 45 minutes before our case was called. Not bad considering . . . The judge, with little discussion ordered the following:
      1. Minors shall have visitation with their mother, until further order of the Court, as follows:
      1. Unsupervised visitation with the Minors at the Minor?s request;
      2. Unsupervised visitation shall occur away from the mother?s home and shall be outside of the step-father?s presence, (except in therapy).
      3. Minors may call their mother whenever they wish.
      4. Mother shall be allowed to telephone the Minors.
      1. The parties agree to participate in the Minor, Nancy?s, therapy at the OZ San Diego as requested by the Minor?s therapist. The parties agree that the Minors, Elizabeth and Elese, as well as the stepfather will also participate in Nancy?s therapy at the OZ as recommended by the said Minor?s therapist.
      2. Neither party shall discuss their respective religious beliefs with the Minors except in the therapy with the Minors.
      3. Neither party shall interfere with the other party?s religious beliefs or rights: and neither party shall speak in a derogatory manner to the Minors regarding the other parent.
      4. A review hearing will be held on November 16, 2004 at 9:00 a.m.

Next, the judge addressed the restraining order issue. He read the Sara?s request and my response. He then pulled out a big fuzzy 8 x 10 color photo of me standing across the street from the KH hold a very big sign over my head. The judged asked had the bailiff hand me the photo to examine. He asked if that was me in the photo and he wanted to know what my sign said. I said flatly, "Yes, your honor, yes, that is me, and the sign says, ?
JW?s ABUSE MY KIDS - ELDERS DO NOTHING TO STOP IT ?"

The judge then asked what my religious affiliation was. I spoke up and stated clearly that I was born and raised as one of Jehovah?s Witnesses, but I was now excommunicated from the church. He nodded, and asked me to respond to the restraining order.

I said that Sara?s request for the restraining order is based on allegations of "abuse" or "threat of abuse". There is nothing in her allegations to support I have any bad intent toward Sara, Mark and the others listed in the Request. My speech and actions in these instances were restrained and in proportion to the situation I was facing.

The judge then allowed Sara to respond. She said that I have been showing up at her door for eight years harassing her and her husband. She took on the little quivery-on-the-verge-of-tears voice she always uses in the courtroom when lying to the judge. She said that I forced my girls to go picket the KH, she said that my protesting at the KH was harassment and that Mary held a sign that said, "SARA, STOP HARASSING MY HUSBAND!" That on the 27 th of August, I called Mark out to fight.

He allowed me to respond once again. I said that "during the first instance of demonstrating at the KH, Mark and Sara were not even there. Anything she might say regarding the incident is fantasy, fabrication or hearsay. The sign Sara is talking about said precisely, ?SARA, STOP
SLANDERING MY HUSBAND?, this in response to her public accusation that I sexually molest my children. These parents in connection with the elders in her congregation have been covering the real abuse issues, past and present, for eight years, and that is why we are here today. "

Because Sara presented letters from JW?s filled with lies, stating that I challenged Mark to fight on 8-27-04, the same night he told Nancy and Elizabeth they were bad association, the judge ordered the restraining order to remain in effect for 3 years, but did not apply to therapy situations or situations that pertain to discussing visitation arrangements.

The judged addressed Sara and told her that he cannot and will not order me to stop picketing her church. He said that my demonstrating is anther matter altogether.

When dismissed, the bailiff/Sheriff asked me to remain in the courtroom until Sara has left the building. I sat. Mary went out into the hall were the same Sheriff was explaining to Mark and Sara the application of the restraining order. Mark suddenly snapped at Mary, "He (me) has to stay 100 yards away from us!" The Sheriff shot back at the fat f*ck, "YOU can?t talk to her!" Mark pouted and walked away.

      Here is the interesting part
. If I am an apostate, (and I fully intend to send An official letter to the elders of their congregation renouncing my belief in the organization of Jehovah?s Witnesses and their teachings ), according to the strict rules of the organization, Mark and Sara are not to mix in my company whatsoever. Because they have agreed to go to "group" therapy with me, this now puts them into some pretty "spiritually dangerous" circumstances. If they attend therapy, they are violating "God?s laws", but if they do not show up in obedience to the law, they will be in contempt of court and will be fined and or serve jail time.

If they attend therapy as mandated by the court, I will have a controlled platform for ripping apart their conduct and their beliefs. I will have the opportunity to meticulously expose them for the liars and hypocrites they are and it will be documented. These therapy sessions will be video taped with all of our consent by the therapist herself. Can?t wait to get in there. I now get to address some real issues with them and they have to sit there and listen. They now have to answer for their actions to me, the therapist, the Court, and most of all, MY KIDS.

This is a victory for my kids, first and foremost. Mark and Sara will inevitably keep pushing and violate something just as soon as they think they can get away with it. I am ready for that.

Well, that?s all for now folks, I am going to uncork some Merlot now and just chill for a day.

      Love you guys,

Corvin? What happens when you picket and your ex passes by? Are you not within 100 yards away?

Although Mary is determined to keep picketing, I am going to hang back until I get legal advice on this. I will not violate the restraining order. It simply isn't worth it.

    Congrats, Corvin, and cheers!

I'm so happy for you, Mary and your daughters above all. You obviously got a wise judge.

I'm a bit scared at your idea of using the ordered therapy as a "platform", although I'm sure you would do that very cautiously. Just an idea that came to mind, fwiw: instead of objectively accusing the cult and those still in, why not express your own feelings, concern, and mental work on your own past responsibility in the religious education of your daughters? You could actually say the same things about the cult from a different perspective, which would better suit the context of therapy and imply a fair and positive commitment on your part...

You bring up a good point here, Narc. Yes, and be assured the "platform" will be used skillfully to draw them and their neurosis out into the open. The thing that got me laughing about this is that our therapy sessions have to include the religious issues, for it is the religious issues that have brought us all to this point. It is impossible to seperate the religion from them or their actions because it is their religious beliefs that motivate them to be such dorks, and they will be forced to defend their actions using the Society's bullship. I won't have to do much really, they will do it themselves. It should be a real hoot.

A couple of things. The wt is watching this board. It may get involved in this case and start advising your ex. Something to keep in mind, but nothing to worry about.
